Turning in my Bears fan Card. *more inside*
Yes its that time. After years of cheering for mediocrity i have finally given up. Sure the Bears havent been the powerhouse that we all would have liked but i can root for a team that tries, does the best they can do, and maybe just has bad luck.
This on the other hand is team of excuses, accepting of mediocrity, no accountability. That's not to say i wont post here anymore because my disdain for this team shouldn't affect that. But now it will be as an impartial fan of the board not a fan of the team.
This is offical.
Exit: bearadonisdna die -hard bear fan.
Enter:new bearadonisdna, no holds barred , highly skeptical, jaded, disillusioned criticizer of the Bears.
That being said: Suck it trestman. Suck it tucker. Suck it Jeffery. Im done.

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. For some reason this team always felt like little brother. Well little brother u have a problem and we will not speak until u get help.

This is offical. I am no longer a fan of the Bears with this boards posters as my witness.

And don't come back we don't need fair-weather fans either don't let the door hit you in the ass.

Yeah I guess i deserved that. Not sure if i should defend myself. but the disdain i have for this regime and the defense decision making in particular has left me with a total disconnect from the team. Fair weather the weather wasnt all too fair last season in fact defensively it was the worst weather ever.
Instead of angrily bashing the team on other boards, i respect this board too much to that, i just come to the realization that if i have so much disdain for the team that i cant be a fan right now.
Sure i wouldnt expect for other fans to turn in their 'bears fan card' but this thread can also be used to express frustrations u may have with the team. And as a long time fan i know there is some. There is the uncertainty of the defense and the realization that we wont ever get back the unit we lost in 2013-14.
Its not that i dont feel i can bash the bears here but ive been posting here for a while so crying about something that most of the board already knew, that turner was crap, its too repetitive.
There is just flat out more i hate about this team than i like. Even guys like briggs and his stupid face make me mad and his stupid locker room BS. See thats what im saying i cant do it. Its for the good of everyone.
I will be hear to watch u guys wallow in despair and mediocrity but thats gonna be ya'll not me.
Unless u join me

Dude last year Off. Is the best we ever had in my 38 years of cheering for my Bears. The Defense sucks big time I thing the Bears we address this off season dude hang in there.

I don't get why last year did it for you. We made the playoff once in a 6 year span before that under Lovie (and mostly Angelo) with offenses ranked 28th, 24th, 30th (Playoffs), 23rd, 26th, and 27th, kind of the opposite of this year.
It doesn't mean much but most of the games last year were much more enjoyable than the ones in the past 6 as well.

...but on a serious note. Like was said above. Why last season. Two seasons ago, 3 seasons ago I see it but last year? We finally have a top tier young offense with the arrow pointing up. Defense sucked, but we have money and draft picks. i don't get it.

We had our running back, two receivers and a rookie guard in the pro bowl. Our QB was hurt a lot and leaves a bit to be desired but still turned in some of the best numbers he ever has. Our offense was great at scoring points. We finally have an NFL level offense, and a really good one at that. You'd literally be stupid to take any other receiving tandem over ours in the NFL. Our head coach as a long track record of success with offenses and QBs.
Yep, this is a frustrating time to be a Bears fan.

In his defense we did have a bottom of the barrel RT
