Exactly. I remember in the 11-12 season they putout a lineup of Wade Bron Miller Bosh and UD (in crunch time) and that killed for a couple of games. After the game Wade said that this is what they all came together for. Of course, Miller couldn't stay healthy much in 2012 but for the love of god Spo put size on the floor. If we put size and offensive firepower on the floor, we take the Pacers in 6 and that's not even being cocky. If Hibbert and West aren't going off against us, PG and Stephenson are nothing alone.

Spo is itching for size. He's repeatedly said he's uncomfortable with small ball.

Is he really, man? He's only said that recently and I still don't think he's fully ready to give up small ball. I will say that watching Bosh/Bird for prolonged periods of time made me very happy.

I really want us to go big against Indy and negate ALL of their advantages against us.

I did read recently that he's 'very uncomfortable with small ball'.

Hmm...I must have missed it. Well, I guess that's a start then. As LeBron would say, "About damn time".

Nothing against small ball, it worked for us in the past but with an aging Battier, Allen, and an inconsistent Wade (mainly due to injuries) we can't play small. Takes too much energy and we aren't the young and athletic team anymore.

I have always wondered how Riley personally felt about small ball since he was big on rebounding and Heat get slaughtered on the boards . I remember reading somewhere that he isn't a big fan but let Spo run with it because it worked in the playoffs in 2012.

It is imperative that Beasley plays for us. He's the x factor, I fear we are killing his confidence even more

Watching Beasley this year, you can tell he's playing too passive. I've seen him pass up wide open threes or mid range jumpers that come in the flow of the offense only to pass it. Lebron said it earlier this year that we didnt sign him to pass the ball, beas is a scorer and needs to play like one. I have confidence in the kid and have always liked him since we drafted him.

Andersen says he's "definitely comfortable playing w/ C.B. Us Texas boys holding the paint, man! U know what I'm saying, we hold the paint!"

Chris Andersen on playing more: "That's what I was screaming last season. It's all about having faith, man."

Chris Andersen, when asked about needing 2 deal w/ Bynum & Pacers, started listing all the Heat's frontcourt players Indy needs 2 deal with

Spoelstra says he wanted to get Oden in tonight but never found the right time.

I agree, although I've seen some pretty good passes from him while on the move.

What a difference it makes when Wade is feeling good and we can hurt teams all game long, even with LeBron on the bench. One thing that bothered me is how we completely went away from Wade when LeBron came back in, despite Wade killing it at that point. Total mismanagement and it kept the game closer for longer than possible.

Other than that, finally a great convincing win.

Note to OP: Don't put scores in thread titles they are spoilers and ruin it for people who haven't had a chance to see the game yet but want to skim the forums.

wade is the key to this year. If hes at 80% we might have a shot. if hes at 50% we done. If hes at 100% its a wrap.

If what Beasley did to start the season proved he can't be a regular on this inept bench, than that speaks volume to the coach. I just don't want to hear that when Ray is terrible defensively and is allowed to do virtually anything he wants to out there. Ray Allen is getting force fed minutes out of loyalty and "the shot" when he's been terrible all year.

Told y'all Spo was giving them a try out.

How exactly could Beas convince him when one night, he's in there for the final defensive play and the next night, he is nowhere to be found lol Spo  Not to mention any player would STRUGGLE to get an offensive rhythm given inconsistent minutes.

Beas brings so much to the table man. Scoring/crashing the boards/decent man D. His rotations on defense and its team concept is what still needs work and what has been ****. And that won't be fixed if you simply don't play him....

What does it take to CONVINCE HIM? Does every player have to excel on DEFENSE? What advantage(DEFENSIVELY) does a Cole/Chalmers line up give you?

I know of NO player that can get in and stay in Rhythm with inconsistent minutes, it's not realistic

Mike is trying to NOT make a mistake rather than being aggressive, he knows he's one play, one missed assignment short of a benching.

Did anyone else catch the sunsport comment about Cole when he was on fire last night. The greatest complement Spo can give him is to call him a smaller UD?

This happens all too often ever since the 2nd year of the Big 3 era, we pull away from Wade even when he is having a good game and it pisses me off. But, in the end, we won.

Great win.

On the Beasley subject, he's not a rookie anymore who needs consistent playing time and coddling to see what he can do, he's been a starter playing heavy minutes in this league already and that didn't work out for him. He's actually averaged about the same minutes as Lewis this year and more than Haslem, but I don't see anyone complaining that those guys haven't been given enough of a chance. Beasley is who he is, he's not going to magically change with more minutes, he's got awful defensive awareness and on a team trying to tighten up the defense, that's a problem.

And yes, Ray Allen's not an amazing defender, but he is at least where he needs to be on that side of the ball, and offensively he fits better as a floor spacer than Beasley.

What kills me is when these high quality nba people ,bring up a reason to why the heat won't win another title is cause Ray allen can't keep his man in front of him no more.

It'd like, he hasn't been able to keep his man in front of him since 2011.

Beasley will always have homers, not sure why. And I don't think ill ever understand
Stop being so disrespectful.
