would be interesting to factor in the catch and shoot guys from the iso guys, if possible. i'd much rather have a catch and shoot guy putting it up every 2-3 touches compared to a breakdown iso guy shooting every 2-3 touches. ---- that is assuming you have a pg who is smart enough to only hit the catch and shoot guy in rhythm and open and not passing it to him just because.

I didn't need Zach Lowe's opinion on this, but I know his opinion is 'gold' around here, so...

...I hope this settles the debate that 'catch20two' and I were trying to make about Waiters this morning

Seems he shares my opinion on Waiters. I wouldn't give anything of substance for him.

It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to watch a Cavs game and come away with the conclusion that Waiters like to get shots up and plays suspect defense. I can't believe I had to go back and forth about that for a hour or so. All and all I would still prefer Waiters on his rookie contract over Hendo on a 3 year contract so I would try to see if the Cavs are interested in Hendo and the Portland pick for a troubled player in their locker room. Waiters has talent and can be a dynamic scorer whether shooting 3s or attacking the rim but I don't like him in a starting role at this point in his career. There's just too many factors against him starting from being undersized, bad shot selection, and lack of defensive effort. That's the type of player you give a leash and that's all I was trying to say earlier.

Gerald is my least favorite player in the NBA by miles so i would trade him for Waiters, maybe a change of scenery will help Waiters and playing with good leaders like Al and Kemba and the coaching staff should help a lot not to mention his boss will be the greatest player of all time and all of that will be a huge upgrade from playing in Cleveland with all those divas and bad coaching

I've said this for awhile. I would take Dion over Gerald, every day of the week. Waiters could be good with a coach who gives a damn and doesn't let the players control the team.

Anybody watch a lot of Grizzlies basketball? I ask that because I wanted to ask if Joerger a better coach than Clifford? I'm happy with Clifford though for the miracle he's done with our defense but his rotations are still frustrating. I remember wanting Joerger as our head coach bad during the search. I later found out that Memphis basically had him as a lock to succeed Hollins and they wasn't letting nobody interview him but I still wonder what could've been. He's doing a great job with a depleted Grizzlies roster of late now that his rookie head coach jitters are shaking off but I want to know how he's doing it other than the return of Marc Gasol. Like what is his philosophy and strategy?

I love the Grizz. I don't think it's possible to offer an impartial opinion on "Joerger being a better coach then Clifford" though. They're pretty much the same. They have added some much needed shooting (Courtney Lee has been very very good) but it's still the same slow-paced Grizzlies team.

All in all, they still seem like the same team.

I like Lebron but that is a complete and utter disgrace.

Is it just me or are the Cavs like the Oakland Raiders of the NBA?

Steve Nash was back to the court after 5 months without to play. I think it need to be his last year in the NBA. In Suns he played like 30-years old, but at the Lakers he see like old and not fresh player. I very worried about the Lakers situation. Nash and Kobe are very old, they until not in good level to be starters. I guess this is their last season in the NBA. Gasol injured and going to leave in trade. Who will play next year in the Lakers?

Marshall - Harris - Young - Kelly - Sacre

I'm really sadly to see this team.

They'll be alright. Gilberts son will get them another first pick this year.
