^True, Aldridge is Dirk-automatic from midrange. Guy is all muscle memory

Great decision by Wall to drive right there.

Time for Wall and push his game a little more right here.

Wizards looking very competitive after making that come back.

Impressive.

Portland is playing great and the Wizards and hanging with them.

I think Portland has the edge on offense. Wizards on defense. Push comes to shove. Defense usually wins.

Great game so far.

Two jumpshooting teams.. not surprising that we're seeing a lot of huge point swings and runs.

Wizards having the lead despite 61% shooting by the Trailblazers.

The difference tonight, ball security and shot selection. Outside of a couple of bad shots Washington moved the ball, used the shot clock and didn't give Portland many opportunities on the break.

I expect that turnover number to creep up, but I really doubt Portland will continue shooting at that clip.

Should be an exciting second half.

At least they aren't booing.

Baby steps.

I actually hear them cheep more early then usual. I would call his a good performance considering we are in the booth. If they win this game, fans will slowly start to get it. If they then beat SA, I expect the booth to start cheering more.

They are mentally damaged. Gotta give them a little bit of a break. I mean you have people that post here down there.

We're lucky we're forcing them into turnovers because they don't miss shots

they're shooting 60+ and we're winning...they can't keep up that pace...can they?

They're honestly better off putting Porter out there to guard Matthews then asking Beal to. He doesn't seem to understand how to guard much in the post yet (which is ok for a young SG, and you expect Wes whose having a stellar year + all his experience to be able to exploit him there).

If they gave extra points for degree of difficulty LMA would have over 20 right now.

Wall is holding his own against Lillard.

Nice battle of two young PGs.

I think the coaches have said something to Nene about whining to the refs. Seems like he has been hitting the mute button lately. Earlier this season he was getting hard to watch.

Been that way for at least the last 3 games.

Ok, this is where you need your crowd to step it up.

They did their part making it a game against a really good team. Now is when you let them know they aren't at home. Bring the noise you hosers that are at the game.

MAKE SOME NOISE TO START THE 2ND HALF.

this game has L normally written all over it for us with a brutal 3rd. Blazers are so hot and we come out like idiots. One day it has to change, right? We need someone to takeover because Blazers will try to come out hard. Put the ball in Wall's hands and let him make plays

The guy is all muscle memory from midrange.. he could probably make those shots blindfolded.

If he shot threes, he'd basically be Dirk.. but he doesn't, which really hurts his efficiency as a player imo. Long-two ball isn't going to serve Portland well in the postseason.
