GT: Bobcats @ Warriors Feb 4th 10:30pm EST

our previous game against the Dubs was quite something.

questionable for the game:

Kemba Walker (ankle) went through practice on Monday and is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Warriors. He had a setback last week and it caused him to miss two road games in Phoenix and Los Angeles over the weekend.

David Lee (shoulder) was back at practice on Monday. He had a shoulder injury and missed Friday's action. Lee seemed like he was fine and played 34.9 minutes per game in his nine previous games before injury, so the DNP came as a surprise. He should be good to go against the Bobcats on Tuesday

We haven't chance to win the Warriors. They have Curry, Thompson, Igoudala, Lee. I hope that Kemba going to back tonight and David Lee not. Only with this situation, we have some percents to win.

bogut will be a tough matchup for jefferson. bogut isnt going to bite on pump fakes and he is strong enough to keep al away from the lane. force feeding al wont work tonight. we need to improve our ball movement. its been really bad the last few games as everyone just stands around and watches al.

Al's third worse shooting night came against the Warriors. He went 5/16.

And that's with Bogut getting into foul trouble. I remember that happening and Al even getting an opportunity to play without Bogut on the floor.

Game #50: Bobcats @ Warriors 2-on-3 Preview

1- Golden State is 2nd in the NBA in 3PM (9.4/game) and 3FG% (38.3%) – In the Bobcats win over the Warriors back on 12/9 they were able to hold them to just 29.7% from behind-the-arc — Kemba also scored 31 that night. So, what’s more important for Charlotte’s chances tonight: Limiting Golden State’s effectiveness from bonusphere, or the possible return of Kemba?

Spencer: Limiting Golden State from downtown. They’re going to get up shots from deep, but being able to contest them consistently is the tough part. There’s a very thin line between playing good help defense and staying attached to shooters – usually it comes down to effort and extremely crisp defensive rotations — the Bobcats have been above average at both this season, so there’s hope that they make it tough tonight for the Dubs.

Greg: The three-point shooting. As much of a boon as it would be to have Kemba back, the Bobcats have shown that they can win without him: It’ll just take a tight defensive game and a lot of points from Al Jefferson. Giving more minutes to Anthony Tolliver might help keep up in the three-point arms race, too, though they’ll need to balance that with MKG’s defensive play.

2- CURRY’S REVENGE. Naturally, Stephen didn’t enjoy losing in his hometown back on 12/9, so tonight will carry some fueled motivation. In his past 5 games, Curry is averaging 32 PPG and firing a ridiculous 59.5% from deep. Any thoughts on how Charlotte can slow this production down?

Spencer: Just make sure you’re chasing on his hip and don’t go under any screen. Have to make Curry put the ball on the floor and make a play going towards the rim. It takes constant effort and focus to guard a guy like Curry because of the non-stop motion when he’s off the ball.

Greg: This is a little bit of a chicken-and-egg situation, but Curry tends to be more ball-dominant in Golden State losses. He averages 28.9 points in losses vs. 22 points in wins, and his assists take a hit. His turnovers shoot up in losses, as well, averaging 5.4 vs. 3.4 in wins. If they can harass him into giving the ball away and take away his passing, they’ll have a much better chance at a W.

3- PICK IT. The Bobcats are assured to get out of this west coast trip at .500, but is there a shot they sweep Golden State on the season and make out of this trip 3-1?

Spencer: Nah. This would become the new biggest win of the season if they were able to knock off the Warriors on the road, but just can’t picture it.

Greg: I just don’t see Charlotte keeping up with the Warriors right now, especially at the Oracle. I’ll be happy if they can keep things close and relatively entertaining.

GAMECHANGER.

You'd be surprised. He's a decent post defender and whenever we're able to stop opponents effectively cutting to the hoop when Bogut sits, we do well.

At the very least he's a body to throw at Al Jefferson.

Curry plays close to no defense so it actually seems like a great idea to me.

yea that is good but the bad thing is Curry is very good on offense and Kemba's ankle might be hurting a little

Lol, watching pregame and they are showing what everyone predicted for the Super Bowl. Cod Zeller almost said Peyton Manning is my s**t.
