Ross Dunk of the year!?

Probably the most excited I've been on a dunk since... VC.

DD on Mozgov was really nice, but on this one I went bananas.

I wish DeRozan would attempt the dunk VC pulled on Weis

I hope the next time a 6ft PG try to take a charge on him, he just goes all VC and jumps over him

I can see where Little Ozzy is coming from... the dunk was absolutely spectacular, but the still shots and the video tell a different story. It looks like they had a mid-air collision and Ross just powered it home, when in reality Faried was jumping across Ross' path and was falling the opposite way when the dunk was actually being made.

Dude straight up blocked Amir on the play before so it was definitely a payback play that made a poster out of one of the better blockers in the league. Great dunk, but a little bit of smoke and mirrors nonetheless.

Yeah, it was actually a really nice defensive play by Faried on an open court 2-on-1, contested with his hands outstretched right in front of the ball, bodying Ross slightly without fouling. On virtually any other player, that would've been a clean block or missed shot.

A lot of the critics say Faried was moving away from the ball so it took away from the dunk. That second angle clearly showed how Faried was on the decline while Ross had some height on him in the air. Even if Faried went straight up, there is a good chance Ross would've flushed that over top anyway.
