I think we're going to get crushed. Even with their injuries.

We just don't match up well with them. They're a smart offensive team with flawless execution and unselfish play, they're a decently athletic team, they're a good shooting team, and they're a good defensive team. And they have such a great system in place that even with injuries, they have a lot of guys that can come in and step up.

And I can almost guarantee that Deron will come up smaller than Mini-Me in this game, while Parker goes off.

i agree with this. i dont think it matters who on the spurs plays or is injured the fact that they move the ball well will pretty much gaurantee they score 100-110 on us. and offensively i dont see us keeping up.

spurs 102 to 0

Spurs are not playing their best basketball and they are going to be on back to back, i say Nets win a tough one.

We thought the same when we played the warriors. We cant be shorthanded like the last game though.

Is Duncan playing since it will be a b2b?

Kinda wish this game was tonight, being snowed in and all with not much else to watch.

I seem to have entered some kind of carnival of self hate here.

When in rome, continue hating Deron as in all other places.

I think Proky is on the money. This will be a historic loss, eclipsing our previous works of mediocrity. The NBA will cancel the live feeds for "Basketball Reasons" in order to preserve the integrity of the game as a whole. Thousands in attendance will blind themselves manually with straws, hot dogs and fingernails to disrupt visual perception of the event.

FYI - Tim Duncan is going ham tonight.

On top of the impressive numbers (31 Pts, 11 Reb, 5 Ast, 2 Stl, 3 Blk so far) , he just made a tough bailout turnaround jumper to effectively seal the game for the Spurs.

Dude is a beast. And the Spurs bench has come up big as well.

We're in trouble tomorrow.

Spurs just played a double overtime game, Tony Parker left the game with a back injury, so we better win tomorrow.

This should be a win considering their circumstances.

Although, the Spurs always play well no matter who they throw out there.

We're not allowed to hate on a guy who's not performing? Especially if that guy is on a 100 million dollar contract and is expected to be the star of this team?

And look at the last few times we've played SA and how Deron plays. He doesn't show up. The only time I can actually remember him doing well against them since being traded here was his debut game with the Nets. And he tends to not show up in those games against contenders where we REALLY need a star performance from him in order to compete, and instead he folds. He did it against Indiana, he did it against OKC, and he'll probably do it against SA.

Parker hurt his back.
Timmy played 40 minutes & this will be a b2b for him.
I want a solid W.
If Raps lose tonight, Nets are only 3 games back in loss column behind Raps & Hawks, & only 2 games back in loss column behind Wiz & Bulls.

Parker might be out, but Patty Mills was fantastic tonight and I can see him torching us tomorrow. Don't forgot about Bellinelli too, one of the Nets killers.

Parker has back tightness and is out. I doubt Duncan plays after playing 40 minutes. Kawhi and Ginobili still out.

I think this is a win for the Nets. I know it's the Spurs but they'll be playing with Mills | Green | Belinelli | Diaw | Splitter with Ayres and De Colo off the bench.

does it matter? all 12 guys on that team execute the offense. they are going to put williams in pick and roll situations and are going to mvoe the ball well and they are going to get tons of open looks and easy points. they are going to score 105. we wont be able to keep up.

they literally could use there 11th through 15th guys and beat us. they are by far the worst matchup in the league for us
