If we could find a way to keep shump and get JVG, I think I would get my nut to how good our perimeter D would be...

trade tyson chandler to a 3rd team and get picks back

trade shumpert, amare, our 2018 pick and the picks we get back for tyson for Rondo and a couple bad contracts.

that is what I would do

keep THjr at all costs.

more like: Dolan wants to give Carmelo, Rondo before he opts-out and decides to leave.

Anyone who wants Rondo and trade everyone is f stupid. This is the same xact deal that has killed the Knicks for the last 13 years--any idiot + this deal can buy the bridge Im selling in Brooklyn.

Let me go back trades for hurt Mcdyess--well
sign hurt amare--welll

My bet is Boston would take Tyler Hardaway and 2018 pick and make is take Green and Wallace.

Id rather let Cramelo walk for 0 than do this.

Ugh. Tyler has potential to become something special and Timmy can develop into a key contributor. Not to mention a draft pick on top of it all. No more desperation moved pls.
And just like that, the lead has been cut to 8!

Mills has friends around the league so we'll see what gets done.

This will be the test to see if Mills's friends do him a solid. I'm sick of all of these teams with likable GMs getting sweetheart deals. It's about time we got ours.

Dolan is going to give up the entire roster before the deadline.

defensively alone but just thinking about a player who can penetrate and score or dish and actually control the offense makes me a little too excited

That is the difference a healthy Rondo makes. This BoBo Rondo isn't better than Felton.

It would be pretty desperate to make a strong push for him now, unless we are getting him at a steep discount.

I would trade all the 2015 expiring's for contracts that expire in 2016 to acquire assets that we could use to get Rondo. Our expirings will have way more value next year.

C'mon Danny Ainge please, I beg of you., do not accept ANY proposal the Knicks might conjure up. Rondo is DONE. Why is that so hard for people to realize? The only reason why Boston is holding on to that kat is so that some hapless foolhearty organization like the Knicks would throw everything at them in the hopes that MAYBE they can catch a genie in a bottle.

When his contract is done in another season he'd be offered less from Boston what we are offering them and, then we'd have to pay Amare pt. deux? :nonono:

If they trade for this guy....., idk.

I've been on the THjr bandwagon since summer league, and I would trade him for Rondo. IMO Rondo is the third best PG in the NBA after Curry and CP3.
I doubt anything happens though.

I'm with ya on that and i'm def on the fence but Melo needs a true PG so badly that i would probably have to give in to trading him for Rondo.
I think Timmy has a real shot at being a star 2 guard in this league and would love for it to be with the Knicks.

What's the point? Rondo isn't exactly looking like an All Star out there... is some barren group of Melo Rondo and Tyson Chandler going to do anything this year? I doubt it. I guess if the Knicks are all in on the next era being Rondo Melo duo they'd make a move at all costs, but I don't see them being a powerful force together -- especially if it comes with the rest of your salary space being tied with w/e crap Boston would send our way. Not good enough to bet another set of future yrs on.
