Keys to the Win:

The Suns are having a solid season so far and have beaten some good teams. In order for the coasting Miami Heat to get the W is to come out and have a early run and playing with some energy which we were lacking last game. LeBron scored a season low of 13 points vs the Jazz and struggled the whole night which affected the team hopefully LeBron comes out and plays better vs The Suns. Coach Spo all season has been preaching Defense but so far were inconsistent on defense some nights you see the Elite Miami Heat Championship Defense (Rarely) and some nights you see the lazy D (Most of the time) I'm praying that we would play better D. Miami Heat season all time record vs the Suns is 19-31 which is really bad but Miami has won the last six games against them. Miami in order to win is that they have to play defense, play with energy, be consistent both on offense and defense, defend the paint, and grab those damn rebounds with your two damn hands or we will end up losing like how we did vs the Jazz. LET'S GO HEAT!!!!!!!!!!! 8-) :D

Somehow I feel like this game will elicit more effort from the defending champs so I'm hoping for a less disappointing result.

The game is on the 11th not the 14th. Otherwise, nice thread.

We'll win, because we'll lose to the Warriors in the next game.

Man oh man cant tell you how much i am disapointed after the utah game. boy we were awful and i dont wanna hear any excuses because there arent any to make. its february and we are still taking it easy. i understand the big picture mentality but this is getting frustrating at very best. anyway i am going with my last desperate shot and will try to jinx them maybe they will react so here it goes...

Honestly I feel like the regular season is over for us. Not sure I like it, but that seem to be the approach by the team. I guess they don't have it in them, mentally, to grind another grueling 82 games. And Spo is unable to get them fired up.

We're not going to catch the Pacers in the seeding race, and we're not getting below #2 seed either. So we're basically not playing for anything important right now. And that's how we look too.

To me the only relevance of the remaining games is preparing for playoffs. So this means :

1) Not overplaying the big 3
2) Doing whatever we can to get Oden as comfterble and ready as can be. He's making a defensive difference out there, even now when he's still rusty. And our defense looks bad without him.
3) Find the best rotations, make a decision about Beasley, Douglas.
4) Stay healthy and wait for the playoffs.

i agree 100% with everything you say. but i dont like it because they have another 2 months of regular season and you can tell they are sick about it already. as a fan i dont like the notion that i have to watch another 2 months of this hijatus and that our team sucks because they wanna suck and not spend a minimal effort especially on defense.

Plus i will confirm rex's theory by saying we played a total of 66 playoff games the last 3 years. Lebron has played even more while he played in the olympics. so basically we played almost 4 seasons in the last 3

Beasley's Revenge!

Seriously, just win. Phoenix doesn't suck so maybe we'll actually give a damn before the second quarter. Let's not fall behind by double digits in the first half. Woooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Yay we're playing a good team so there's a decent chance we'll win. I've decided I'm only watching games against teams over .500 from now on. Tired of seeing us getting punked by all these lottery teams.

Now, seriously, I love this team, but I don't like the basketball that we are playing in big three era! I think that we have the potential to be a dominant team, but most times we are a miss as a team!

i definitly agree with you, i mean we reached only the NBA finals 3 times in the last 3 years with 2 titles, How Pat Riley could have been so delusional

i miss Yakhouba Diawara, he could beat in 1 vs 1 LeBron so easily and Mac Blount could teach to Bosh how to shoot the 3

i miss that 15 wins in a season

Good one.

Damn Maroko, you confuse me. Over on the official Heat board, you troll the hell out of that board with your dumb posts and the 2 million screen names you have.

Yet on this board your posts are decent, make sense and are sometimes funny. WHO'S THE REAL MAROKO?!

As for the game, they shoot a lot of threes, hope our perimeter defense is ready to play. Just win!

If were on coast mode i can accept that but we cant be in coast mode and still play Lebron almost 40 mins last night in that abomination of a game. If Spo is incapable of motivating the big three then play some of our bench players more.

We won, because we have Wade, Lebron and big individual talents! if you ask any one, they will tell you that SA has played a better basketball than us in the Finals! you can win by individual talent and you can win by a basketball team playing a collective basketball!
