That last possession was horrible. I get why Vogel wanted to push the ball, but PG had Hill wide open on the wing. An open 3 is a much better shot than a contested step-back.

Oh well, I'm kind of glad they didn't bail themselves out of this one, the second half was pretty horrible, a loss might mean more to them than a lucky escape.

even the Beatles Special didn't clear my head. I suppose I should take that as cancelling out the Portland game we had no business winning but yuck.

Our bench is still a big weak spot. I think we need to do something before the deadline

Several of the late calls went against us, but that isn't an excuse for losing this game. Too many guys thought it was in the bag.
Vogel is Dutch for Bird.

Yup. Can't blame anybody else but ourselves. We had it, and promptly gave it away completely.

some of that was Lance being less than 100%. some is Granger getting used to less lift. but doesn't signing Bynum count as doing something?

Isn't it funny being a fan, ton's of guys on the Magic board thought calls went against us. GG games, thanks for screwing up our tank. BTW, good luck in the playoffs, hope you guys destroy Miami.

It seemed like the wheels came off last night when CJ Watson got leveled on a layup attempt and then Stephenson was called for a touch fall on the other end on the ensuing fast break. This team needs to stop worrying about how the game is called and learn to play through it. They'll get more respect from the refs if they choose their spots to complain. They're getting Heat-like in their complaining frequency.
