Everything, because the Lakers are only committed to a very few players. All the Lakers would have to do is find a couple teams to take some low-priced expiring contracts.

Does it take more effort? Let's put it this way, what takes more effort, dumping another low-priced expiring contract, or finding a dirt cheap talented young player?

Dump Kaman who'll undoubtedly leave the Lakers this summer, and it's a done deal. Lakers could even throw in $3m cash as incentive.

You're making it seem like the Lakers are facing some incredible obstacle as grounds for cutting Harris. And that's not only wrong, it's silly.

Getting good, cheap talent? Pretty damn hard.

Didn't seem that hard when we signed Nick Young, Xavier Henry, Wesley Johnson, Kendal Marshall for the minimum. And guess what *gasp* theyre all freaking backcourt players omgee! Get off your high horse and freaking admit you're wrong, jesus.

Relax, these are just opinions.

Speaking of which, you should check your own. First of all, Wes is an off the ball forward, not a backcourt player.

In addition, Nick Young can't play within a team system, can't rebound, and although he is currently underpaid, what makes you think Nick Young in his prime will continue to be a cheap contract? That ends this summer, most likely he opts out to get paid.

Of those players, only Xavier Henry has shown the ability to consistently penetrate defenses and finish at the rim. And he's been hurt, hasn't been able to get that knee right.

And none of those guys have the all-around game that Manny showed in his short time as a Laker. Kid could shoot, penetrate, finish, rebound, and he has a good motor. He can put pressure on opposing team defenses to get quality shots, and that's a big need for this team.

How many players out there can do that for such little money? Not many.

Harris had a pretty nice game with the Defenders. 56 and 16. Wish we would resign him and give him some minutes. I see some potential with this guy.
