I really hope he's just conserving his body for the playoffs. Wall played poorly tonight.

Is this the first game you've caught all season?

The entire game had that lackluster feel...that's why I'm glad they got the win.

I was out pretty late last night with some friends and saw John and Boogie at a bar

Cousins was hosting a party and needless to say there were a lot of models and bottles. I'm just tuning into the game, but based on the stats it looks like both of them are playing like crap which doesn't surprise me lol

I wonder if Boogie told Wall, don't worry bro... You'll can have this game. We are tanking. But let my Isaiah go off. You got your check. I got my. He still has to get his.

Now pass that bottle and that hottie over here.

So he made the same arrangement with Kyrie Irving, Phil Pressey, Patty Mills and name your quick point guard?

He outplayed Kyrie.

Mill and Pressey. They gotta get paid as well.

Yep, you caught me. This is the first game I've seen all season. Who is that tall white guy? What happened to Okafor? Where's AJ Price? Did Kevin Seraphin ever find his snake? I have so many questions...

Just saying, seems odd to think that Wall's thinking that far ahead based off one very average performance following a string of very strong performances. He did score 32 points and record 10 assists the game before.

How many DNP-CD's in a row for Otto? When was the last time a top three pick wasn't even sniffing scrub minutes in his rookie season? Thabeet? Before that?

Well the kid is terrible so that's no surprise. Even Bennett is showing something.

Sometimes I wonder if you guys are seeing the same game I'm seeing....

The only reason this game was ever close at all was Webster and Ariza going a combined 5-21.

But it really hasn't been just this game. He's been settling for jumpers more often. Driving to the basket obviously puts your body in more danger and it is one of Wall's best moves. I could see him limiting his driving for the sake of his health, at least until it is absolutely necessary. His shot wasn't falling in the second half and yet he continued to pass the ball off or settle for jumpers. I know Wall can be more aggressive, both offensively and defensively. If he is conserving his body for the playoffs then I'm totally fine with it. I expect him to turn it on in the playoffs.

You think Bennett is earning those minutes?

It's a little disturbing when guys who were afterthoughts as 2nd round picks or undrafted free agents are getting significantly more burn than Porter. I'm talking Matthew Delladedova, Archie Goodwin, Robbie Hummel & Toure Murry to name a few. And these are all guys playing for teams that are desperately trying to win games.

What can you really determine about a player in 207 total minutes? Nothing is gained by letting Porter rot on the bench.

This Wizards FO has been terrible at developing talent—it's why they value the Nene's and Gortat's of the world over draft picks. The only thing is that they try and blame the young players for the lack of development and not themselves.

I hate the long 2s...

Gortat and Nene need more post ups.

I wish Wall or Beal would develop post games... esp Wall when he has a guy like Thomas guarding him all night.

This offensive system is disgustingly sucky.

I gotcha, I think it was just an off game. During the five-game homestand, Wall had gotten to the line 26 times in the four previous games. This was a lackluster game all-around, wasn't the most exciting game of the season, the Wizards led for the majority of the game, Wall probably just wasn't as focused as he could've been.

I'm glad the team managed to do enough to stop the Kings and walk out with the win. On to bigger and better things.

There doesn't seem to be very much to it. Drive, kick, shoot...if it ain't broke then don't try to fix it.

Until season's end...

Don't know if this is true or not, but I have to admit that I was wondering if the two of them were out partying last night. I mean, they both were terrible tonight. Lazy, disengaged, sloppy ... And Cousins was a total douchebag.

This was about as bad as I've seen Wall all year.

Exactly. Meanwhile. we are getting reports that Noel is looking good during his rehab. Its simply asinine why Noel wasn't the pick. The team has a screaming need for a big who can cover pick & rolls, and defend the rim.

Please trade Porter while he still has "some" value. Thomas Robinson got traded for spare parts. It doesn't take long to get the shine off of a lotto pick.

BTW, I said Shabaaz was the better prospect than Porter was. I still like him to have the better career.

Why didn't we post up Gortat more? He had a tough time finishing a few pick & rolls but he was very solid on post ups. They kept trying to milk Néne in the second half and he was having a tough time finishing after his solid start. It was a great opportunity to run a few plays for Gortat. He easily could have had a 20-25 pt effort tonight but Randy ran things through Néne and Seraphin when he came in....
