he still is the most useless player on the roster in a while. the passes he made werent exactly all that difficult. lob it up to a very athletic leaper who has a clear path to the rim. not exactly stockton type stuff.

Terry is really confusing because he's somehow shooting 38% from 3PT land, which would be REALLY useful playing next to Livingston or AK47 - but I'm pretty sure 80% of his makes are during garbage time. When he plays during real minutes, he misses EVERYTHING. Decent playmaker but I hope Kidd doesn't give him too long of a leash. With Alan Anderson on the roster, there's no real reason to even play Terry. I feel like Kidd is trying to get him into a rhythm for later in the season. Feels like a lost cause at this pont.

you have to be right. i had to double check on that 38% you wrote to make sure it wasnt a typo. i can recall him making many 3's during non-blowouts. i mean, he has missed tons of wide open looks when we needed them to go down.

Agree on the kidd thing too. kidd was CLOSING games with terry earlier in the season and now he has gone to him earlier. Alan anderson had his best game of the year dropping 22 points and the next game kidd goes to terry off the bench over him.

kidds releationship with some of these guys is becoming a (minor) issue.

Terry is 12-20 in threes when we trail by 20 or more. That's why his percentage looks good.

that puts him at .33% for the rest of the time, which still seems high to me. although some of those might be in games we lead 20 or more?

26 more wins until we match up last seasons win count that was lead by Reggie Evans and Gerald Wallace

I believe you are correct.

Terry hasn't hit a shot with the game tied all season -- he's 0-7 from the field -- and his field goal percentage and three-point percentage increase steadily at each interval until the game is a real blowout at 20 points or more, where Terry's shooting a scorching 67 percent from the field and 12-17 from three-point range. More impressively, Terry's shooting that in just 58 minutes of blowout time, the fewest minutes of any point differential (not including ties).

My main thoughts outside of whatever's already been talked about is this:

Can all the Plumlee critics fess up and admit that they were wrong? I was part of that group initially when I first saw him play a couple of times. But this guy works hard and makes a lot of effort plays. He's not a good defender, he's not really a good rebounder, and he has no offensive skill to speak of, but he can finish around the rim and he does a great job of getting those 50/50 balls. I like the kid, I think he's a useful 12th man to have around, and he gives the team a much needed injection of athleticism and hustle. I was wrong about him.

Now, something I'd like to point out with Joe Johnson...blaming Deron for his lack of production is a joke. He's gotten all the same opportunities and all the same looks, he's just a passive and inconsistent player who will go through stretches like this. He should not be getting a pass whatsoever.

Continuing to love KG, dude's great, and went up against his future self in Davis. Speaking of Davis...wow. I'm a believer. He's the next KG...AT LEAST. That's my bold prediction of the decade.

Whoa, atleast a top 10-15 player of all-time? That sure is a bold prediction.

But yeah, Davis is awesome. What a player, he'll dominate the league for years to come.

Maybe I should rephrase that, because that's a really tough expectation to put on anyone.

When Davis hits his peak, I expect him to be at least as good as a peak KG. Still, I'm expecting a top 10 peak out of the kid, which is still a tough expectation, but at least I'm not asking him to have a top 10-15 career, which would be much tougher.
