In order:

Embiid
Wiggins
Parker
Exum

Won't rank beyond those four until we move out of the top lottery spot or one of them goes back to school.

I still have Wiggins at #1. The basketball skills will be more apparent in the NBA. Still painfully obvious that all the tools are there

This is a nice breakdown of one of Exum's games. I have him #2 right now with Wiggins #3.

Voted Embiid, but I gotta say, I'll be pumped if we get any of Embiid/Wiggins/Parker/Exum. It's neck and neck for me after #1.

I have no doubt Embiid will be taken #1. But if we took him I would argue that 3 of our 4 best pieces moving forward all play C and cannot play together. Which means we end up with 3 pinto beans for Sanders/Henson that another GM was able to convince Hambone were magic (read: no beanstalks will come of them).

I think Wiggins is going to be a great pro and almost hope we end up at 2 so we get him. I am with OP, I think Exum overtakes Parker. I hope its not just my Duke hatred showing through but I don't care for the shot selection (read: long twos) that Parker settles for which will be lower % shots as te NBA defenders get longer and more disruptive. I still think he will be a good player but more of a volume scorer; the kind of player I abhor.

Embiid
Wiggins
Exum
Parker

Its a really tough decision. I was really hoping one would emerge as a favorite but they all have great qualities it seems. I know you don't draft for need, but some of these guys are so close for me that need fulfills the tiebreaker role....and I have questions about our talent. I'm still on the train that Sanders can play and be a difference maker. Can he & Embiid play together? Is Henson a starter or back-up in this league? Is Knight a legit answer at SG?

I think I go Parker as I like what he's doing at Duke, midwest guy, and seems to have good head on shoulders among the talent. I can handle...

PG: Wolters/Knight
SG: Knight/Mayo
SF: Giannis/Middleton
PF: Parker/Henson
C: Sanders/ZaZa

And we'll probably have a couple 2nd rd picks to be in the mix, including one 31-33.

Vonleh is looking better and better to me as well. He is 6'10" 240. He has the best rebound rates in CBB yet people call him too small? Last year's presumed #1 (Noel) rolled into the combine at 206 without such rebounding chops. And Vonleh can stretch a defense. He feels a lot like a better rebounding Bosh (without some of the polish around the basket to this point) to me and a really good midrange/stretch 4.

Is that Michael Ian Black doing the commentary on that video?

I would take Wiggins, Exum Embiid in that order. I just think Wiggins and Exum fit in more with the current make up of the young core(long athletic run and gun team). While Embiid may have the greater upside of the 3.

This to me is like the debate on who would be better for Wisconsin, Diamond Stone or Henry Elleson. While Stone may have the slightly higher ceiling but Elleson seems to fit better into the offense.

I'm assuming this wasn't posted here yet, but this is a tidbit from an interview with Seth Davis about Tyler Ennis.

SI.com: Do you think he'll turn pro after the season is over?

Boeheim: I don't think so. I think he knows and his father knows that he's a really good college player. He has to become a better shooter and get stronger to go to the next level. He'd go in the first round, but look at the number of first-round picks who are already out of the league in the last two years. It's a huge number.

U know i would love to have a guy on our team for once that has the ability to give u a 20/ 10 nightly.
As of now on the average the only somewhat consistent scorer we have is knight,so i have no problem with parker being a volume scorer and to be honest i think he would be one of our better 4s we had in a long time.So im going with....
Parker
Wiggins
Exum
Embiid
Smart
