Camby anyone?
So reading the wt, Marcus Camby wants to play and is coming back from surgery. It would be nice to have a third legit center behing Bird, and Oden. Would you guys cut Mason or Jones in favor of Camby?

Jones isn't going anywhere. Douglas or mason are the first guys to go. As for camby, he has had a bunch of foot problems and he is like 40. I'd pass unless he looks amazing which I doubt.

It'd really depend on how healthy he is. I wanted him in the offseason but it seemed we didn't have too much interest. Can't think it'd be any better now...

JUST WHAT WE NEED... MORE WASHED UP OLD PLAYERS!
I mean seriously why don't we convince Zo to come out of retirement as well? *facepalm*

Hes so old, you can hear his bones creak when he walks. He wont get any playing time here.

Re: Camby anyone?
I mean he'd be the Juwan Howard 15th player on the bench, we could cut Douglas or trade him. I know he is old and most likely wont play more than a few minutes here and there if any. But Bosh looks good out there when he is the stretch 4 and Birdman has been taking alot of hard falls, and Oden is working his way back and could have a set back any game. Camby would be an insurance 4th string center. Who knows if he has anything left in the tank and plays some good defense maybe that can give Bosh even more minutes at the 4 if we are losing the game due to rebound and height.

Re: Camby anyone?
I honestly thought he was retired already
I am sure something better will become available before March 1 (when waived/cut players must sign to be playoffs eligible)

Re: Camby anyone?
Camby is someone to be made fun in a championship rant not to give him the Juwan Howard treatment.
Camby? Can't, bye.

Unfortunately this is the only guy that realisticly we have a chance to aquire in my opinion. probably we will cut mason and bring camby just to have an extra body

Re: Camby anyone?
i really don't know how we can get past the pacers without camby sitting in a suit at the end of the bench. we need to make this move. he puts us over the top.
