Good luck hoping for a package of players along with Rondo...

No way Ainge is involving Green, Bass, or Bogans in a trade unless WE'RE getting the star. Why don't you guys get it?

Stop egging on knick fans...No one is interested in green, bass, or bogans-lol... YOU hold those players in high regard. None of those players have done anything this season to demand a star in return

I'm one of the few on this board who believe rondo is the best point guard in the game. However, that doesn't change the perceived value of rondo today. In life its all about perception.

And again, if you are so concerned about what knick fans "get" why don't you track down the authors of these rumored articles- because no one on this board started them :noway:

So because you only pay attention to Rondo, the rest of the players on the Celtics don't have value?

I never said that Green, Bass, or Bogans would be traded for a star. However, they would be parts USED in a trade for a star. Green is a average to above average small forward, Bogans is an expiring that isn't guaranteed next year, Bass is definitely an above starter and he will be an expiring. But you probably don't know any of this right?

FYI, the Hawks have inquired about Green, and Phoenix, the Warriors, and another team has inquired about Bass.

Just because you're used to looking at untradeable role players on the Knicks roster doesn't mean it's the same on every other team. Front offices actually evaluate and trade for non-stars too.

So, again, why would Ainge give up trade assets (Green/Bass/Bogans) and his star player (Rondo) for your **** platter of Felton and Amare Stoudemire?

I agree with the Celtics fan. THjr for Rondo? Say what? And thinking that Jeff Green has negative value to absorb back in order to help get Rondo? In what fantasy world are we living here?

I dare you try uttering those words on the general board. Double dare.

Honestly if we got Rondo I'd be so damn happy. Even if we give up too much (like we always do), Melo and Rondo for the foreseeable future would make us a possible contender every damn year.
