Uh, what? No they don't. Christians are a recognized religious minority with reserved seats in Iran's parliament. Same for Judaism.

Not that Iran is some free society or anything, but what you allege is not something they're guilty of.

This isn't about broadcasting your sexual preference to the public; it's about not having to hide it anymore. When people come out of the closet, they're not saying, "this is my sexual preference"; they're saying, "I'm no longer going to hide my sexual preference."

There is a difference.

Some people are still afraid of revealing their sexual preference. Gay NFL players have NEVER felt comfortable about not hiding their sexual preference. Until today. So of course this is a big deal. More people/players may now be encouraged to stop hiding their preference.

I'm not going to continue on debating as MD posted to stop. I would just recommend you take a look in the news again. :)

Okay then, please PM me what you're referring to. I haven't found evidence that what you allege happened.

Good idea, take it private. We never discuss religion or politics on the board.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Gabe carimi released again. Man I really thought he was a least gonna be a solid rt after watching him at wisco. Not sure if it was the injuries or if he just sucks.

I do to know what it is with him. I figured him to be a pretty solid NFL lineman.

I think all of his tweets were fine other than the suicide one, that seemed over the top and unnecessary though maybe he felt he needed to get a dig in after being dragged through the mud this season and wanted to get something that would sting. Will be interesting to see what the investigators report says.

That's what I was saying. No idea if he is truthful or not but it was like "fine, fine, fine, WOAH...wouldn't say that..."

Phew, it's a good thing that report exonerated Incognito as he said it would. Oh, wait...there's more than the title page?

If that is true, that is seriously messed up.

What is with professional athletes raping women? It blows my mind that any of these guys would rape anyone. You are in insane good shape and you are a millionare... you really can't get laid without forcing someone to have sex with you?

My assumption is that 90+% of the time it goes as you stated above. The other 10% gray area is that they get used to it being easy that they think everyone is or will say yes. Also added into that is that after the fact a chick may make up that it was not with her consent knowing they are an athlete. I guess I'm talking more about Big Ben, Kobe, etc. here. They think the answer is yes every time without even asking at a point.

If this is true, though, this goes beyond that, I guess. This would go beyond logic as you say. With Kobe and Big Ben you can at least see how they got into the mindset that she "should" say yes or that they were blamed because the women knew they have money, fame, etc. after the fact.

Psychologically, rape is more about power than sex. So, obviously if this is true Sharper has deep mental health issues.

49ers apparently talkng long-term deal with Boldin. I like the sounds of that, hopefully a lot of the money is guaranteed.
