When it comes to his offense. He's no diffrence maker I give you that. However I don't know who is overrating him.

Hey I'm not saying he's a terrible defender, I'm saying that for all the talk about his trade value and before the start of the year the Bulls had found their shooting guard of the future, he doesn't dominate a game on either end. He's played 38 minutes so far in this game and has taken 4 shots, he can not create for himself at all, he's purely a spot up shooter that does that at a low efficiency.

That's some sweet back-peddling on what you just said about his defense.

How is that back peddling? One post I said his defense was average, and the next post I said I don't think he's a terrible defender. You think because someone mentions he had 3 steals I now think he's a great defender? Him gambling for steals is what led to two Paul Pierce 3 pointers.

It seems you made a sweeping generalization based on a few mistakes. The guy's an excellent defender, and was the primary reason Joe Johnson had a **** game.

Start the game! It's already going on 10:00 and I've gotta wake up at 6:00.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Because you decided to steer the conversation towards his offensive game when you had nothing to back up your "Jimmy Butler is an average defender" argument.

Good joke though PB.

Jimmy Butler per36 -
12 ppg, 5 rpg, 2 apg, 2 spg, shooting 37% and 27% from 3, a per below league average. The only joke is how over rated this guy is. 75% of his shots are assisted, proving that without an elite creator, he can not get quality shots off.

Five minutes later, they still don't know that Williams didn't finish the dunk

Loved the cross-court pass by KD there for the Thabo 3 attempt, too bad it was missed.

Missed a lot of training camp and preseason. Was out for a few weeks during the season with turf toe. He is finally getting healthy. His percentages will rise. And haha at saying he is an avg defender. Should be on an all nba defense team this year along with taj and noah.

He was playing better last year. This year he's had some injuries and has struggled since coming back. It looks like he's gradually coming back to form though.

LOL! I was thinking that. Didn't they notice that Durant was nowhere near taking that ball out of bounds?

Everybody knew that. Only big Bulls homers were declaring him a 20 PPG scorer. But he's for some reason become the Bulls primary perimeter option, particularly when Augustin is not in the game. We're isolating him on the wing, the defense is loading on him, and we're running pick and rolls for him. It's crazy-- it's not what Butler's good at, and that's known.

Butler, when this team gets Mirotic, Rose returns, and maybe we pick up another wing who's worth a damn, is going to have his game open up. He's not getting open shots or drives off of kickouts very much, and that's how he scores. He's gambling because he's desperately trying to create offense for himself. But he's going to be a competent 14 PPG scorer on decent efficiency in starter's minutes if he can just be relegated to 3rd/4th option which is where he obviously belongs and will be most valuable to a team. A player hasn't been misused like him since Omer Asik was playing Power Forward next to Dwight Howard.

Offensive drop likely due to lingering injury. Third year players typically don't have a near 10% drop in TS% for no reason.

Defense has been fine this year. He's a large part of why they have had a shut-down D this season.

I wish that Lakers would trade him to Miami, all though doesn't play very good defense. His offense is pretty excellent, and he's a good rebounder to pair with that. Miami could really use him.

Jordan Hill just isn't a good offensive player.

I have no idea how the Thunder are losing this game.
