The rough reality is that we already blew the "easy" stretch to our season, which will make reaching the playoffs (let alone having respectable standing there) a major uphill battle.
We needed to be stockpiling wins when we were busy losing to mediocre and bad teams. This team doesn't deserve to go to the playoffs but there are just enough teams worse than us (or taking better than us) that we won't be seeing our pick either.

We have two big games against the Bobcats after the break. Not that much of an uphill battle. Plus, their strength of schedule has been extremely close to ours.
