the corner, what moves can we expect the Nets to make? Btw, I'm new to the boards. It'll be interesting to see what Billy King will pull off this Summer. At this point last year, no one expected him to pull off a KG/Pierce trade with GW going in the opposite direction which was definitely a good move as it provides flexibility to do sign and trades sooner. What's interesting is I'm noticing a lot of people propose to trade for J.Smith with a subtraction of Joe Johnson; Yes it's understandable that his contract is shorter in a longer period of time but the fact still stands he will be on the books past 2015-2016 which is the same season KD is in the last year of his contract with OKC. Although it may provide us with the ability to do a S &T, does not the team have to agree to trade(OKC) the player? Essentially what I mean is yes KD may agree to sign with the Nets but if they cannot provide a max deal, due to someone like Smith on the roster along with Deron, where is the guarantee that KD will be sign and TRADED? The team would have to agree to the trade, correct me if I'm wrong. Of course, this is all pending any Josh Smith trade. It's going to be interesting to see what really occurs this offseason.

You can't know until after the tread deadline in order to see what other high risk overpays that King puts together.
