This is a definitely a loss. The Raptors are just scoring at will inside and out.

Would be nice if Beal had some consistency.

The difference it really only turnovers.
Beal with 3
I would have liked to see Randy put Ves in for a spell to use his length to stop all the post scoring. He still doesn't seem to have figured that one out. Athletic front ours are tough on Nene and Gortat.

Wall seems to be the only one on our team not just going through the motions. Need to tighten up the D. Jonas isn't that good this year, can't let him school you, but Gortat is fairly awful defensively.

Not looking good.. they're doing whatever they want on offense and getting high % looks
If Wittman doesn't make adjustments (ha!) this could be a classic 3rd quarter collapse
I don't know if it's because they haven't played in a while or what, but all the bigs are a second slow on rotations. They shouldn't be allowing that many shots at the rim

I guess most of you forget that defence is played by the whole team not the particular players, so I wouldn't put as much blame on bigs where there is a part of a game when for ex. Vasquez is going past Beal like in the training mode.
Also can't play without a bench who nearly every game is on (-) in the boxscore.

No one is playing defense, centers are suppose to be good anchors on defense. We get abused in the paint consistently because Gortat and Nene are slow to contest shots consistently. Doesn't help our wings gamble too much on D as well. TOR is fundamentally sound, we won't win by trying to go for steals all the damn time. Just stay with your man. I know Gortat is your boy and all, but he is definitely a matador on D. Offensively he's ight.

Not enough guys on this team that can do anything off the dribble
Everyone other than Wall and Nene are just extremely dependent on catch and shoot or catch and finish situations. Beal is getting better but he's just not there yet.
We need more guys that can create on their own. In todays NBA you really need a handful of guys that can dribble drive so you can keep a defense on their heels, late on rotations, etc so you can get easy looks.
It's why I'm in support of moving Ariza. As good as he is we can't have success with having two wings that are complete statues. We need another dribble drive perimeter option and we need a defensive anchor. Beyond that we need a more consistent backup C and an NBA level backup PG.
In short--Ernie sucks.

Beal did get blown by 2-3 times, but not all of these lapses were on him. Booker, Nene ,Gortat, and Seraphin were repeatedly slow on rotations. When you watch a good defense, even if their guard gets beat, the bigs know exactly when to step up to deter the penetrating player into passing the ball. Our bigs are just looking at the guy as he waltzes to the rim

Thats who they are when pair against younger more athletic players.
This is a big hole in Randys coaching. He doesn't feel like he can turn from Nene and Gortat but he needs some younger springer legs out there. Either that our you have to force feed Nene and Gortat and have Wall driving a lot to get them in foul trouble.
Strategy and adjustment isn't Randys strong suit.

Well basically the entire league is younger/more athletic than Gortat and Nene so, this happens against damn near every team. It's more of an effort thing.
LOL that possession just now was hilarious. All of our offensive players look like goobers with the ball other than Wall and Nene

Does Randy have no feel for the team.
It feels like someone died and he is just sitting on his hands.
He does NOTHING.
Please fire this douche.

Gortat with no defensive intensity. Love it. Letting treadmill tread all over us. :/
