Yeah but as usual, I expect himto re adjust and get his act together. After all, we arent talking about Luis Vizcaino.

smith will be fine. he's only a rook. he wont be lights out, but he'll defintely be a good option this year in the 'pen. he'll be almost as good as bradford last year.

Eh, Luis Vizciano has more of a good career to fall back on than Joe Smith.

Not saying that Joe Smith isn't a good pitcher. He is. But some of you need to get some perspective here. Seasons and players are judged bases on a full seasons worth, not an outing. Last time I checked, the Mets were in first place. Mets are going to have some down time, they are going to have some slumps.

Yuh, we've been pretty bad. Losing 6 of our last 7, losing 2 series in a row, etc.

Tomorrow Shawn Green is finally activated. Anyone is better then Ben Johnson, ledde, newhan in the OF.

Mets need to turn it around and get 2/3 from the Dodgers.

The only thing that I can say is that, we've lost 1 game in the standings, even with losing 6 out of 7.

This series loss is all on the pitching. Besides Friday, our pitching has sucked.

green coming back is defintely a positive. ben johnson (dissappointment) will be sent down i'm assuming. that makes a big difference.

this isn't a must. but it wuld be really good to win 2/3 and get on the right foot. espically when going to face the NYY.

One good thing about today is that we at least got whipped by a good team. We didn't give up 17 to the Royals like the Phillies did.

Yeah, Joe Smith is having his correction. He isn't a 1.33 ERA pitcher.

Really?!?! Tell us, Enlightened One, what does your Yankee vision tell you about what his ERA should be?????
