Sorry Kerrsed, it's going to take more than 3 YouTube clips (2 of which are highlights/mixtapes lol) to convince me why the Suns need to take another shot at a tweener.

I also think he's better suited for the 4 spot.

Don't you think he'll have size & length issues? I worry he won't be able to keep opposing 4's off the offensive glass.

With his wingspan and athleticism, I think he'll be able to make it as a 4.

I think Saric should be heavily considered if he is still there with Was' pick. I wouldn't be surprise if he was gone tho.

Boy R_W, I really have no interest in Saric. Not a good enough shooter or scorer, and can't guard 3s or 4s.

I see versatility and long term potential. I can't see him as a PF in the NBA tho, full time at least. Still, if we drafted him, ideally I'd let him develop playing for a top euroleague team a couple of years. Links to Bodiroga grabbed my attention and after watching a little, I have to say that the comparison has some merit.

R_W, I am curious to see whether our non-european Suns` fans know who is Dejan Bodiroga?

One of the best euro players ever, unique basketball player and a born winner. I can see similarity between him and Saric but Bodi was really one of a kind. I haven`t seen player with that lack of premier athleticism being able to put his team on his back that way and hit big shot after big shot when it counts the most. Truely amazing player he was.

I don't know if they know him, but man Bodiroga was a monster. Even craftier than Goran, off the charts fundamentals and bball IQ. 6'9 PG if you needed him to be. He was indeed slow, and not a great shooter but you could always count on him to make the big play or shot. He absolutely dominated in Europe. I had the pleasure of watching him play for Real Madrid and Barcelona. Especially with Barca, he was the real leader of that euroleague title team, much more than Navarro and Sarunas.

And yes, there is a little of that in Saric, although I wouldn't dare to say that he will reach that level.

Of course now the Lakers have and are projected to have the 4th worst record, so of course they will likely end up with Embiid, Parker, Wiggins, Exum or Randle.

Or, perhaps Embiid and Parker stay in school another year and they end up in 7th in the draft. :D One can only hope. #FDALAKERS

Ofcourse its going to suck to see them get a top 3 pick but I don't think I'm worried about who they end up with.

I feel like as long as Kobe is on that team they won't be able to proceed to landing another long term star through the draft. By that I mean as long as Kobe is there, Parker or Wiggings won't grow the same as they would on a team without Kobe.

Now if they get Kevin Love they will have their star for the next 10 years. But that's a whole different story.

I don't even want to think about it. What is their 2015 protection at? I see the ghost of Stern pulling another ATL. :(

The 2015 pick is top 5 protected. With a healthy Kobe and a good rookie (plus some 1 yr additions like this year) should put them in playoff contention (not in the playoffs though).

They struggled last year and had Dwight, Kobe, and Nash, although they were riddled with injuries. You can only hope they continue that pattern. Here's to the 6th pick.

Ryan McDonough was at the Syracuse/Maryland game.

I hope that doesn't mean he has his sights set on Jerami Grant. I'm not crazy about Tyler Ennis either.

What's wrong with Grant?

He was probably scouting Grant. We have no need whatsoever for Ennis, and he probably won't be available where we're picking. He's not going to draft Ennis with Dragic, Bledsoe, and Goodwin on the roster. Grant is also projected to picked in the range of where the Wizard's pick will be.
