Pistons @ Bobcats...Round 2

Post#1 » by ComboGuardCity » Wed Feb 19, 2014 8:41 am

I have a feeling, Drummond is going to come out and play some defense on Big Al. It'll also show me if Loyer is the type of coach who can make adjustments. (Why not pack the paint? They shoot just as bad.)

Hope we see a win, but not on the backs of our dynamic duo.

If these guys have any dignity they'd play as if their lives depended on getting this win.

not this $hit...we've lost two against the Bobcats

i say, just get rid of Smith and Jennings before the deadline, that's the best Joe can do before he GTFO this offseason

It will be interesting. If we lose this, does this trigger Joe (and Gores) to do something more drastic at the trade deadline? I think so.

i'd trade Smith for a bag of chips but the owner might want Drummond too so NO

^ that'd be a steal for me

with Phoenix this season, imo Smith can fuel their delusional run and help them to be the rebirth of (Atlanta Hawks of late 2000s)

I hope we get completely blown out.

Charlotte has great incentive to win - both to lock up the 8th play-off spot, but also to secure them getting our pick - it's the best of both worlds, win to get into the playoffs and a better draft pick.

I can't believe Charlotte has a better future than us right now.

If we lose this, I really don't want us to get into the playoffs. We're too inconsistent and embarrassing to do so.

They haven't already? Outside the consistent concept that Jennings and Smith believe they can shoot their team to a win every night.

The Horncats have already won the season series 2-0, I doubt Detroit stumbles into their arena and gets a win the night after getting stomped by them.

I wouldnt say they have a better future necessarily. They just dont have a Smith or Jennings at the moment. Us having Drummond still gives us a better future in my opinion.

I don't think under any circumstances, the Pistons are going to lose enough to not give the Bobcats their 1st rounder, thus Pistons should go all out to win. There are just that many worse teams out there.

I dont know, Were pretty bad and have a pretty rough schedule ahead. Cavs are now just one game behind us and NY should start winning more you would think.

I conceed the Pistons may not make the Playoffs, but I think they have better odds of making the playoffs than keeping their pick.

This is a must-win game. If we don't come out with intensity today...then we don't deserve to make the playoffs.

This game will make or break your opinion? I used the last 53 games to develop the opinion that this team is awful.

Have you seen the rest of our schedule? Our easy games have already come and gone. Even if we try the best we can hope for is 9th seed.

Pistons have proven they can compete with the good teams on occasion, thus I just feel it is all about Coaching and Chemistry issues. Who knows if they just start clicking or a trade brings in a better fit.
