What lol?

Everybody here would give Felton away and the Clippers should give up the two best players in the deal? Collison is already better than Shumpert and Felton. And with the way Shumpert has been playing, Bullock can put up 0-7pts a night too. Knicks should take this deal and run. Felton and Shumpert have virtually no value. Collison has shown flashes. Maybe Shumpert will turn it around but as of now, he's not worthy of seeing minutes let alone starting. He's been terrible this season. He has 8 games this season where he scored 0 points. And it looks like 36 games where he's scored 7 points or less. Drafted 17th overall, injured his knee and is playing like crap. He has little to no value at the moment. Collison has shown the ability to average something like 17-9-4-2 in a span of 40 games. The Knicks desperately need a point guard. This is a no brainer for the Knicks because the Clippers are taking a risk that Shumpert ever turns it back around or that Felton won't be a fat lazy bum. With Chris Paul's injuries, I'm not sure I'd want Felton over Collison as my back up if I have had any dream of contending.

As someone else said, more like Willie Green. The Clippers aren't giving up Crawford, Redick, Dudley or Barnes in that deal.

Felton is not opting out.

What makes this deal good is that we get Bullock too, who will still be on his rookie contract come 2015. Collison is no Lowry but he's vastly superior to Felton.

I havent really seen Shumpert's impact this year. This could be because our team is so bad. But there will be a point where he will demand money and we may still be a bad team.

As long as we dont give up picks, then whatever.

No one is untradeable on this team. When you're this bad of a basketball team no player is immovable.

i dont know about this one. it would break my heart to see shump go. felton for collison is pretty much a wash and bullock i think is a pretty good shooter. but overall i'd want somethin more, like a pick.

Reading comprehension is your friend. Felton makes $4.18 this season. Shumpert makes $1.8 million this season. Darren Collison makes $1.9 million. Felton/Shumpert for Collison does not work contract-wise. So we would need the contract of Redick, Crawford, Dudley, or Barnes to make it work financially. Never said it would make sense for the Clippers -- I was just saying what would need to happen under the Collective Bargaining Agreement to make it happen.

Try reading more carefully next time.

Edit: I actually think Redick makes too much. I'm in the car though so I'm not able to check to be 100% sure.

Yeah so he might even be off the books next season, either way he's gone by the big FA, or we can keep him on a similar deal to be our back up.

I'm intrigued by the deal. It does clear space and if nothing else for the short term, it takes away some of the logjams.

We get 4 years to develop Reggie Bullock as well, all that remains is to rid us of JR Smith. Tank next season, high draft pick, 3 good young pieces and ridiculous cap room to spend.

Would be great to get Bullock. (Who I wanted over Timmy Time).
I could see him and Timmy Time being our back court of the future.

But, I like Shump and think the coach is the bigger problem with him, as well as the trade rumors this year.

I used to really love Collison but he has just fallen off the face of the earth it seems.

I remember when fans balked at trading Shumpert in the first place. Knicks should learn to sell high... it would help them out in the future

If we could squeeze Bullock out of them I'd be ecstatic.

Shump, Felton and Murry for Collison, Barnes and Bullock?

financially possible, but I don't think it is practical... I think they would want the Knicks to take Barnes contract (4 years/3.2 mil per)

Thank god we just signed Tyler and cannot trade him.

Didn't we have a chance to get Dragic for Shump? Now we are settling for Collison? Selling low is the worst possible thing they can do.

Why not just fire the coach that is completely clueless?
