i don't understandhow some are hard up on bullock. isn't he an sf? isn't sf play a weak link for the clippers? he's probably their shump at this point.

this super young talent bullock is 9 months younger than shump. he averaged a promising 2.2 ppg so far. I expect him to be a combination of a young Kobe and Vince carter.

What does this have to do with Reggie Bullock? Do people here hate real small forwards?

This is a no brainer trade

maybe this isn't about shump but about felton and his salary.

It is all about Felton. We are trying to dump his salary. Only asset we have which we are willing to give up for that is Shump. Bullock and Collison are just gravy.

I pray this trade goes through. We aren't getting a better deal than this

I havent really seen Shumpert's impact this year. This could be because our team is so bad. But there will be a point where he will demand money and we may still be a bad team.

As long as we dont give up picks, then whatever.

No one is untradeable on this team. When you're this bad of a basketball team no player is immovable
.

It's not about Shumpert being immovable/off-limits. It's about making the right deal.

How much better does Collison make this team and for how long? It's like giving up the first round pick for Bargnani. Turns out, he didn't make us better, and now we wish we had that pick back.

This team is so far from contention. Why are we scrambling to add a point guard when we should be looking at the bigger picture? Save our assets and cap space for a rainy day. That's the way I see it.

We're gonna give up a young player who we coveted for so long.. for someone's backup point guard.. just so we can say we upgraded the position.

Well we are looking at bigger picture basicly. Felton is crap and has 4 year contract. Shumpert is crap also. We're getting back 2 guys with low contracts. Not really some huge upgrade overall, maybe not upgrade at all, but financially it is great.

Any deal for Shump isn't going to wow you because he sucks. Blame Shump for his value.

If Bullock sucks he sucks, he is on a rookie contract, we can always trade him. Point is that we are dumping salary and getting a slighty better PG in return that doesn't affect our 2015 cap space.

This is the perfect deal a win now move and a long term move

ESPN has learned Knicks are telling teams that have interest in Shumpert: It'll either cost you a first or you have to take on Felton's deal

https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/statu ... 3711959040

Clips undeniably interested in Shumpert. Knicks definitely want Collison. But Clips prefer not to take back Felton or part wi/Reggie Bullock

Collison isn't really an upgrade over Felton. At best its a lateral move IMO. And how do the Knicks plan on getting both Bullock & THJ minutes? Leaves us with a big hole at the 3 and not enough of a PG upgrade t do it.
What does Collison do that Toure Murray couldn't potentially do?

TrueWarrior wrote:Its been said before but we cant blame Woodson for Shump's struggles when Tim Jr is doing work out there as a rookie. He's in the same boat as Iman yet he finds a way to hit shots, run the break when possible, finish at the rim, not be completely invisible, etc. Iman could turn it around sure but I've seen no improvement in his actual basketball skills besides his shooting, which seems to be regressing anyway along with every other aspect of his game. If Bullock can be a decent 3 and D guy, while actually being a real SF which is something we need, then you take this deal and run. It's the best we're going to do most likely.

That's my thing, THJ, Tyler, and even Beno when he plays get their points so I don't understand the excuses for Shump.

It's a crap deal for Clips. I wouldn't be surprised if they shot this down. You realize after this season Shump is virtually untradable right?

Bullock plays the 3 he is a SF, probably would do a better job than Shump. Better yet we wouldn't even have to play him.

Wow. it came doen to dumping for a 1.3 million dollar cap space? really we are something. no wonder the whole league loves trading with us.

i don't think felton's deal is bad enough for the knicks to have to make that trade since I'm not so sure 2015 is going to be a free agent free for all. it is intriguing though. if they move both for bullock and collison they get rid of about 7 mill, which with a resigned melo would make it something like 25 mill on the books for 2015. that'll be something 35 mill in capspace.
