Bobcats reach the second round of playoffs.
Pistons pick conveys at 9.
Blazers pick conveys at 13.
Lance Stephenson signs.

And then I wake up.

I'm sorry, but Lillard's knee has to go. Only half-joking.
Humble yourself.

OK, I take it back. Nic Batum instead, because he punched a guy in the balls.

Don't worry. They are probably going to fall to a 6-8 seed in the West without it.

It would be amazing if that Portland pick ended up in the low 20's.

They play the Parkerless Spurs tonight. Then they go to Utah. I'll be content if the pick is 24. The next tier is so far away but at least with Aldridge out it inflates the value of the pick at the perfect time. Perception matters so a hint of catastrophe in Portland doesnt hurt. It could be a sell-high pick depending on these trade offers. Maybe it gets you Afflalo.

Re: Charlotte 2014 Picks Watch Thread
Here's an interesting scenario brewing. The Magic own the Nuggets pick which is currently 12 and Tyler Ennis should be available there allowing the Magic to take Parker, Wiggins or Embiid with their first pick while passing over Marcus Smart. The only other team in the top 10 really needing a PG are SAC who just tried to acquire Rondo and LAL. You figure Exum goes to one of those teams before Smart does and the other must decide between Randle or Smart. Let's say they choose Randle. The top 5 would be Embiid, Parker, Wiggins, Exum and Randle. Bucks-Sixers-Magic-Lakers-Kings.
Pick 6 through 9 all have PG's
6-Boston has Rondo
7-Jazz have Burke
8-Nuggets (via Knicks) have Lawson
9-Cavs have Irving
Is it possible Smart falls to the Bobcats at 10?
I've seen one mock that has it happening.

If he does, then just let him keep falling. I don't have interest in Rodney Stuckey 2.0.MasterIchiro wrote:Here's an interesting scenario brewing. the Spurs bench almost beat Miami last year so im not worried about the Spurs being w/o Parker the Spurs play fantastic team ball they don't rely on 1 player

Cavs up 19 at the half playing without Waiters against the Magic. They're on a role. The Pistons pick could be 9 soon, not that it matters. As long as Pistons miss the playoffs we'll get a decent player with that pick.

I don't want Detroits pick to get any higher. Going to mess around and they are going to move up in the lottery or something crazy like that.

Re: Charlotte 2014 Picks Watch Thread
Marcus Smart is some ass tbh. If he slips and another team is interested maybe we can trade down. Otherwise, I wouldn't take him anywhere in the top 15. Such an overrated player.
