Wizards back on track. Many were ready to jump off the ledge last night after the loss to Toronto. Hopefully we realize that this team is resilient and bounces back well. Funny how just 24 hours ago people were screaming fire Wittman. This team is talented and can hang with some of the best in the East.

Woo, nice win Wizards! Even though I didn't get to see it. Wall going 8-19 is kind of worrying, he seems to be shooting a lot.

Uh... I for one still want Ted to fire Wittman.

Pretty sure Wittman could win every single game for the rest of the season and still have a career record below .400.

Temple did some positive stuff. Nene was pretty meh. Got outplayed by Millsap.

Moral of the story, we can win a somewhat tense game against a slumping team with inferior talent in spite of awful coaching when our players kill it.

I would say Wall was good on the offensive end, but he has been abysmal lately on the defensive end. He continues to allow way too much dribble penetration and seems content to allow his man get by him while trying to slap the ball away from behind. He also tends to freelance way too much on the defensive end. I'm not a Wall hater, but I really haven't liked what I have seen from him defensively the last few games.

one thing I will say in his defense is that he's had to carry the load alot. He has to be our leading scorer while also setting everyone else up because most of them cant score on their own. Then he pushes the ball alot. Basically I think he gets fatigued and I think he's trying to coast on D at times to save his energy.

I knew I'll get lambasted by the "I hope we suck so bad that EG and Wittman get canned" crowd (which I'm down with, the canning part) but the next three are against NO, @themistakebythelake, and ORL. I know Cleveland is red hot (which for some reason with this team that's not necessarily a bad thing) but if we can get the fire lit in these three games it be great going into the last game of the month @TOR. Hey they might whoop thy ass, but things could round together ending this month. At the very least the opportunity is there. (End I my we just own rant)

TOR is playing some of the best ball in the east right now...we saw what happened yesterday...ATL is decimated by injuries and is slumping hard and we almost STILL blew the game....

So...ummmm....yeah....wtf are you talking about?

This is team is just consistently inconsistent.

Why is it every time Wall shoots a lot it's a bad thing. Now I agree we are at out best when he's dealing a lot of dimes but dude had 21-12-5 tonight to got with three 3s (one of them big after the team played stupid on offense and threw it to Wall at the lady second). Don't be Wittman now.

Im never with the losing talk. I think eyes are eyes and their is only so far Witt can go even if we play well. You need another coach to take us to the next level. Basically Im saying that even if we win at a good clip the rest of the year, I would still can him. Is anyone really going to cry over Witt? Chances are, the new coach could do atleast as good. Its not like Witt has a history or a pedigree where people would complain like we did him wrong and I seriously doubt another coach wont have us with a winning record next year so I say win alot of games and still can them. "IF YOU WANNA CAN THEIR ASS, THEN CAN IT! THEY ARE WHO WE KNOW THEY ARE"!!!!

I agree that Washington is behind Toronto. But Atlanta almost came back against Indiana- I believe they cut a 20+ lead down to 3 points with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

The Raptors are 22-12 since the Rudy Gay trade.

Nene hasn't been playing well on either end as of late.

The Nene hate needs to end. Last time I checked Nene has been averaging 16 points (over the last 10) and is one of the few guys that always had a positive +/- during our losing streak. There were a slew of games where Booker started and Nene backed him up earlier this season. It wasn't nearly as effective and left gaping holes in our defense. Not only that, but Gortat's play suffered. I swear, Nene might be the most under rated guy on this board.

While Nene has his limitations, this team is far better when he plays. After last season, I'm not sure why I need to remind people of this.

Nene also has a TS of .522 on the season (in comparison John is .517) which is pretty bad for a big, even worse when that big is, more often than not, the first option on offense.

I don't hate Nene, but he isn't being used correctly.

I'm not saying you don't have a point, but we've recently beat PHX, GS, OKC, and POR. We lost a double OT game against SA (granted they were depleted but that damn team coached by Pop coup make the playoffs with D-league squad, they did the same thing to GS this season w/o Duncan, Tony, and Gino), lost a tough one to MEM, and we're robbed against HOU. Don't act like we can't beat good to teams. Now if you want to talk about a crap teams coming to the VC, I'd say you have a point.

no doubt but they also played 20 games before that trade. You cant just discount that and Wall has still been alot better than people give him credit for. I also think teams come in to stop Wall more than they do Lowry because the Raps still play more of a 5 man team game. I think people's expectations of Wall make it seem like Lowry is just playing better but you cant just go by that or the record. People act like a guy on a worst team cant be better. Yes they can

Don't waste your time. Numbers mean nothing to dlts20. He knows who's good because he knows who's good and that's why the guy is good. The other guy can't be as good because the other guy isn't as good because dlts20 knows who's good and the other guy is not.

I don't disagree, but I still want the team to win. I understand why some see losing as a good thing, and they have valid points, but I don't have it in me to root for us to lose. I'm one of the few that truly believes that this team is better than the record and with a player or two more to have on the bench we could push 50 (along with a better coach) wins and set ourselves prime for the Durant-stakes. Before the rabbet dogs come out I know EG sucks and I have been an avid critic of Wittman, believing that he has done a awful job with our young players this season and thy he's an awful offensive coach. With that said I still like Randy as a defensive coach, he's just not a head coach unless KD or an offensive assistant guru walks threw that door.

you guys act like Lowry is Chris Paul or Steph Curry. Everyone is on the kool-aid. This dude is still just 16 & 7 on 43% shooting. I could see if I was arguing against a guy who is getting 20 & 10 but you guys act like he's clearly been better than Wall when it couldnt be further from the truth. Thats not even including their role as a focal point and who teams want to take away more. And its not even like they are way better. They are just a couple of games ahead of us. Again, its all about perception.
