We should have never traded for Deng to begin with.

I think Cavs' fans tend to forget how badly we were abused by opposing teams' small forwards before the trade. Deng's offense has been okay but his defense has still been solid.' I wouldn't back up the brink truck this summer but I'm happy to see what we can do this year with him.

Plus we have a winning record with Deng on the team.

Im going to bed. I hit 30 recently and feel far too old to stay up all night for these crazy trade deadlines anymore. Work is going to come early in the morning, and I really dont want to be a zombie all day. Plus I know if something is about to happen that I'll get a few texts to give me a heads up. Depending on how big the deal is, I may or may not actually wake up for them...

Important to note:
The Deng trade broke at like 1:30 am.
The Bynum signing was leaked a little after midnight.

So, it's not out of the realm of possibility that something happens tonight, especially since we seem to be talking to a lot of West Coast teams and it's only a little after 9 there, but Im going to bed. Talk to you guys in the morning.... or in the middle of the night if something big happens.

The picks are the Memphis and Orlando 2nds from this year.
