The knicks are starting Prigioni at SG right now and Shumpert at SF who was injured last night. JR Smith and T Hardaway JR off the bench. There has to be some minutes in that line up. I wouldnt' be shocked if he had a mini Tobia Harris like jump.

Aaron Brooks is a much better acquisition than Beno.

Not a bad trade.

Hamilton to Houston for Aaron Brooks now official. Interesting. Brooks hasn't really done anything since winning most improved player a few years ago. He's a decent fit though, and expiring.

Lol Aaron Brooks had to waive his no trade clause in order to accept this deal to Denver...

How did his agent negotiate that in the contract?

The only players I can think of w/ no trade clauses are Superstars like Kobe, KG, Paul Pierce and I think Allen Iverson had one. I'm sure more Superstars have them, but how did Brooks get one?

Ha. Yeah, I looked at this one and felt a little more stability in the team. I mean, we haven't won the superbowl or anything, but good pickup.

Got a PG and a C that both expire after the year....Well done TC. We won't be able to completely tank but we'll be competitive. Hopefully Q and EF get some PT to develop. I like the idea of trading Faried to move up in the draft.

yep not too bad all things considered. Moving Miller and getting another 7 footer, adding a point option so Foye and Fours don't have to worry about it, i like that.

The only bummer is we couldn't move Hickson. but in all seriousness, who the hell would take him.

Not a bad day at all. I would have been fine with taking Maynor too but it looks like he has a player option for next year and TC didn't want to risk him opting in. It's obvious the number one priority was to not take on any long-term salary - and I'm fine with that.

I doubt Vesley gets much playing time and Brooks should be a solid backup PG when Lawson comes back.

Tbh I would want vesely getting a fair amount of minutes, drafted pretty high..... Never know about these euro guys, could be a decent player on the right team.

Is Vesely a UFA or RFA this summer?

Brooks might be the answer as a long-term back up when this team gets healthy.
