Satoranski time? He could sub-let Jan's house for awhile.

we already have Harrington...can't see why we'd take on Jamison as well. I think getting a banger is more important.

Oh, we gotta do this. At this point, lets have some fun.

Bring back the leader of men. He should be here when they tell EG to clean out his office.

I mean to have no D Harrington and Olay Jamison. I wouldn't miss that for anything.

He was in the DL all star game.

See how fun having an open roster spot is

He is playing well in the D league, his shooting % is good, his FT % is not terrible for a big boy, and hes rebounding well.

Hamilton

Hamilton is just destroying everything right now, just go look at his DL stats and watch him play.

Gladness
http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Mic ... mary/11006
He's nothing special, hes older and has been in the D league for a while, But hes a big body who can play D.

Dedmon
http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Dew ... mary/28991
I wanted to pick him up in the draft! He is averaging a double double, with 2 blocks and over 50 shooting %

Hamilton and Dedmon are probably the most intriguing of those guys. I have no idea how they are as defenders via the highlight videos i found but at least Hamilton looks like he can stretch defenses.

Dedmon seems fairly physical and athletic inside. Has legit size according to DX...

So it is almost an absolute EG won't look at either of em :P

Yeah neither of them are 30+ and in decline. EG won't like them.
But they are both decent shot blockers, and they are improving there games and skills in the D league from when they played in college. We need to jump on one of these kids now! they will instantly make Kevin irrelevant !

Its easy to me. James Singleton or Ivan Johnson. We lost a big in Vesely (not a big deal) but the opportunity is there for a 4 to come in an immediately become a part of the rotation. We've had issues with stretch or pick & pop 4's....Singleton/Johnson could immediately help. Wall & Wittman also have experience with Singleton especially so he'd be an immediate fit and contributor. He frankly should have been on this team the last two years...

Potential playoff rotation:
Wall/Miller
Beal/Miller/Webster
Ariza/Webster
Nene/Singleton/Booker
Gortat/Nene

9 man rotation

I dunno about trying find a diamond in the rough. Are there that many big men D-league success stories?

If Big Baby's available and willing (he might get a better showcase for a contract here than w/ a contender), sign him. Unfortunately, I think the Clippers can offer him minutes, big market visibility, contender status, and warm weather. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up w/ LAC.

I was going to plug Gallon also, but didn't see how he could crack our rotation. Gallon appears to have kept his weight down and is scoring a lot around the basket in the D...a Kevin Seraphin sized guy who is not afraid to finish and rebound.

Whoever it is, they have to make the move by March 1. Can they agree to sign Singleton by March 1 if he's still in the playoffs in China?

The Wiz aren't going to get a rotation player from the D League, but considering they traded away their 5th big, I think they need a body for insurance. I wouldn't bank on all of Booker, Nene, and Gortat staying healthy. Gallon's averaging about 28 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 turnovers per 40 minutes in the D League. He's like the DeMarcus Cousins of the D League.

You gotta think he'd be an upgrade over Harrington, right? Bigger, younger, better physical condition. Not the kind of guy you'd want to rely on for heavy minutes, but might help in a pinch. He was downright useful in LA last year and horrible this year in Cleveland. If he produces like he did last year, he'd help.

Agreed, Ruz. Going the "insurance huge guy" route is probably the way to go.

Tiny also has decent rapport with Wall :-)

Randy is the HC. No one is cracking the rotation unless they are a vet. He is in full on EFJ mode trying to get his winning record up so he can get on the HC coaching list. If he can finish several game over .500, that could mean a lot of money to him. Look how EFJ cashed in with Philly after we finally gave him the boot. But that only last like a year and a half before Philly said. WTF Get out of here.

The rotation is 8. Didn't you realize the playoffs started 3 weeks ago.

I think the Wizards should be contact Davis' agent, but I would be very surprised if he ends up here.

I think the order is:
Clippers - only vet min, but history with Doc Rivers
Brooklyn - can offer more money, but it would be really expensive for them
Phoenix - can offer more than vet min, may consider 2nd year with small guarantee
OKC - 2 open roster spots - could probably outplay Perkins for some minutes
SAS - if they prefer him to Baynes, there would be some playing time as the rest Duncan at the end of the season

While there are a number of teams ahead of them, the Wizards would offer the play-offs and a decent amount of playing time. With Nene/Gortat and Booker there are about 15 mpg available and more if one of them is out.

dedmon is either on, or just came off, his 2d 10-day contract w/ the Sixers. My guess is they'll keep him for the rest of the season. He is the guy I'd have wanted in the group you posted, hands.

Glen Davis is a terrible player. Why do people fall in love with names, I wonder, rather than looking at what guys actually do?

I loved James Singleton, and I bet he'd really help in the end of season push, because the guy can actually play the game. All the same, no singleton threepeat please.

It would be wise to use this last spot to audition a young big, but some names mentioned here are actually the property of other teams I believe, and actually... Ernie doesn't care about the future. He's busy giving it away for a chance to bounced from the playoffs in a hurry one year.

edit: I would have liked a look at Jarvis Varnado, but the Bulls have signed him to a 10-day....

I would like to see the Wiz Signeither Earl Clark, Ivan Johnson, or Big Baby (Maybe), I have not seen him play in a couple of years so he may not be good anymore. Is Clark a stretch 4 that can defend. If so, sign me up. He was decent when he was with the Lakers.

Not sure about the D-League guys but I would prefer a veteran.
