Ridnour is the exact type of vet we need backing up Kemba.

Unselfish, high iq and a good shooter.

Very Cho.

Would've liked Calderon, but this will definitely do. Would have liked the deal more without Neal in it soaking up our cap space.

I would have liked Calderon but he would have been expensive in terms of trade value and contract.

Ridnour will be able to play the role required of him and it would not surprise me if we went after Sessions again in free agency.

Luke Ridnour doesn't exactly drop dimes. In fact he doesn't really do anything. Wonder if Pargo will play over him

I've always like Luke Ridnour since his days at Oregon, and considered him one of the better backup point guards in the league for the past several years. I haven't really paid him much attention since 2010 in Milwaukee, so I hope age hasn't slowed him down & made him much lesser of a player over the time. Looking at the statistics, this year for the Bucks he's had a major dropoff, but that could all be about being a part of a bad system more than him actually regressing. I remember the 7-59 Bobcats where everyone on the team had career-low numbers because of that very reason, so I won't be quick to judge Ridnour based on stats this season in Milwaukee's turmoil

averages just under 5asts for career, and we can't play Pargo as primary backup he chucks up to many shots

I can't find one for this year, but here is Kirk Goldsberry's shot chart for Ridnour last year. Looking at the dumb downed version on NBA.com for this year it seems somewhat comparable. 200 shots this year, just doesn't give much of a seeing eye into his year.

Hopefully we can get him a little better in the corners for us. Also, we are the worst mid range shooting team in the NBA, so he will definitely help us in that area. I just worry how it helps our spacing with another mid range shooter.

I just hope we never have to call him Cool Hand Luke. Lol

and apparently overrated as a three-point shooter. I was under the impression he was better than this.

He doesn't suck. And he's expiring. He has a crafty mid-range game with floaters and whatnot, he'll be a nice change of pace to watching Ramon try to lay up everything.

He is, but that is also below the average for players who shoot at least 2 3s a game. He can hit 3s and he will help our spacing some, but he isn't lights out. He isn't going to command a man on his hip at all times when he is out there.

We need to change the name of this thread. Luke might be a willing 3 point shooter and a major upgrade in that aspect compared to Sessions' willingness but he really isn't a 3 point shooter.

Figured it was time to go ahead and kick this one off as well. I'm assuming Ridnour will be on the court by this weekend?
