No big deal, I think wires got crossed with me again.

I wish he could've been part of this. But Morey is cold blooded and if Brooks declined, he would be standing in the way of a team management that didn't want him, and if he left, he would be leaving behind a pretty good thing. It sucks to be caught between a rock and a hard place. Brooks is rationalizing the possible upside to being forced to leave a particularly good environment and being very, very tactful about it. Even Mchale's kinda mad about it.

If we win the championship, AB better get a ring. He's more than put in his time.

Forgot about Canaan, I guess Morey must really like what he sees from him.

His Defensive xRAPM in the last season is a poor -2.3.
He played only a lil bit over 1500 possessions tho. I think he will be used as a young athletic version of Garcia.

how can you trade a top 3 pg in my 2k league for this wannabe rip hamilton feller?

judging by his college stats his ceiling looks like a solid backup wing. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jor ... 321/stats/
sucks that garcia and casspi couldnt get it done. hopefully hamilton is the consistent one of all the backup sfs

but no one wants to give up a stretch 4 for asik??? man o man are they missing out

Dude, our BBG/BWG combo is better than any stretch 4 we could have gotten! They are this generation's Ebony & Ivory! The Chairmen of the Boards, ladies & gentlemen!

lol but how much can the big white guy take? he's a starter, he cant be backing up dwight. our team is too stupid to play with both of them on the court for more than 5min. really the coach's problem but thats another topic.

In the Rockets 47 seasons, Jordan Hamilton will be only the 2nd Longhorn ever to play for the team. The first one was Alvin Heggs, who played just 4 games for Houston in the injury plagued season after the 2nd championship in 1996.

The Rockets have drafted four Longhorns but none of them ever made the team
Albert Burditt in 1994, Gary Goodner in 1978, Dan Kruger in 1976 and Larry Robinson in 1974

Of course prior to Durant and Aldridge, there weren't many very good Longhorns in the NBA. Well TJ Ford was pretty good but always injured.

No Aggies have ever played for the Rockets.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

I am extremely disappointed that Morey would even think about asking Brooks to accept a trade. That's Morey's problem, and one reason why the Rockets will never be a consistently good to great team, but will only be a team that can come together for a season or two and then disband. He shows no loyalty to his players.

Brooks got plenty of PT there and played well at the beginning. Unfortunately, they had a six games losing streak right after the trade and won 4 straight before the trade. He hasn't been playing well the last few games while Jordan is doing quite well. Seems like a good trade so far. It depends on whether Canaan is ready to step in with our PGs quite injury prone.

So far I'm really hoping the Rockets re-sign Hamilton.

Yeah I think Hamilton is a good fit here. His shooting is nice but I really like his defensive effort. We were really missing that "wing defender" role and though I'm not sure if he's it he's certainly better than Garcia.

Unfortunately the guy shot 55% from deep in the first two games here but only 19% since......

As long as he's comfortable by April and into the Playoffs, he could be a major piece.

I look forward to seeing if he can do anything guarding Durant.

Also, T-Rob is playing well for them off the bench so that's two bad Morey trades that have affected this series.

Yes i know we needed to trade Robinson to make room for Howard but we should have sent him to an Eastern Conference team or at least got more for him than 2nd rounders and Euro prospects.
