Back to Gallon, I would bring him in on a 10-day and seriously evaluate him VS Kevin. If you don't want to pay Kevin or Booker, you have to take a serious look at Gallon. Dude has size and can use it.

RealGM’s Player of the Week: Tiny Gallon (Delaware 87ers)

Gallon averaged 29.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game on 58 percent shooting this week for Delaware including a game winner over Maine in the Game of the Week. He has been dominant since joining the D-League two months ago, averaging 18.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game this season. The 6-foot-9, 290 pound power forward was a second round pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, but never played a game in the league. He’s bounced around in the D-League and even played three games in Puerto Rico before appearing for the 87ers this year. Gallon has been impressive enough to receive a near six-figure proposal from Liaoning in the Chinese Basketball Association but turned it down in hopes of making an NBA roster, as reported by RealGM’s Shams Charania. With his improved conditioning and addition of a consistent jumper, Gallon is making strides in the D-League.

Always have been a fan of Gallon, he could be a diamond in the rough. Orlando Johnson also got waived by the Pacers, would be a good young back-up SG to develop. Danny Granger anyone? highly doubt that he'd consider signing with us (once he gets bought out by the Sixers) but can you imagine a small line-up of Wall-Beal-Webster-Ariza-Granger?? Shooters!

Wouldn't be surprised to see an offer to Glen Davis, who I can't stand, but I'm sure Grunfeld would value his "experience and toughness."

I've been frustrated with the way our guards allow so much dribble penetration. I agree with those that want to find a big to fill the open spot on the roster but I'd love it if that guy was a good rim protector /shot blocker. I cringe every time a six foot point guard gets around Wall and drives for a layup undeterred by our rotating bigs.

Edit - Miller will provide even more opportunity for dribble penetration given his age and sluggishness.

Put me down for wanting Earl Clark, although Tiny Gallon has one of the coolest names ever.

Big baby would not be horrible. but If that happens we need to just cut Harrington, So we can bring some one else in as well. I would rather bring in a young 7 footer, but that would be smart and it EG so....

Add Ben Gordon's name to the list of buy-out candidates. We could use a situational heat check guy, but *man*, Gordon has fallen off this year in CHA.

he's fallen off since his rookie year which was so long ago he went up
against Gil when we beat CHI in the playoffs. Seems like a lifetime ago.

Would rather call up a D-league center--no interest in any of these names.

Ohlbrecht,

He is playing well in the D league, his shooting % is good, his FT % is not terrible for a big boy, and hes rebounding well.

Hamilton

Hamilton is just destroying everything right now, just go look at his DL stats and watch him play.

Gladness
http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Mic ... mary/11006
He's nothing special, hes older and has been in the D league for a while, But hes a big body who can play D.

Dedmon
http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Dew ... mary/28991
I wanted to pick him up in the draft! He is averaging a double double, with 2 blocks and over 50 shooting %

Hamilton and Dedmon are probably the most intriguing of those guys. I have no idea how they are as defenders via the highlight videos i found but at least Hamilton looks like he can stretch defenses.

Dedmon seems fairly physical and athletic inside. Has legit size according to DX...

So it is almost an absolute EG won't look at either of em :P

Already taken by Orlando on a 10-day.

Ernie is always the last one standing on the dance-floor. We will get the leftovers after every other team has stocked-up.

So the post-trade Center grab is as follows:

Jason Collins - Nets
Dexter Pittman - Hawks
Hilton Armstrong - Warriors
Dewayne Dedmon - Magic

Other (Forward/Center)?
Jarvis Varnado - Bulls (7'4" wingspan)
Arinze Onuaku - Cavs

Who has officially been bought out/waived so far?

Glen Davis (close to signing with LAC)
Earl Clark
Antawn Jamison
Ronnie Brewer

Who is rumored to be bought out?

Danny Granger (LAC, CHI, DAL, MIA)
Beno Udrih
MWP

Anyone we want to kick the tires and sign to a 10-day contract? What ever happened to Roddy Beaubois?

I wonder if we can get Big baby to flip and come here instead. Washington would give him the best shot at pt and potentially a starting role....

.

I didn't know where to put this exactly.

But now that Nene is down (potentially for a while), the perfect EG move will be....[wait for it]

Wizards Sign Antawn Jamison

Washington, D.C. - Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed forward Antawn Jamison to a two-year deal.

"Antawn is a proven veteran who brings 14 years of experience as a scorer, leader and rebounder to solidify our second unit," said Grunfeld. "He will be a valuable addition as we make our push over these last 28 games of the season to put ourselves in the best possible position."

I think I'd rather you post luv-a-bulls pix.

The great leader of men was serviceable at the time of his departure.
It's been a while since then. IDK.
