Yeah. According to EG, Miller told him he had lost 10-12 lbs while he sat out.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

37-year-old Andre Miller is, well, meh ... but that's light years better than Maynor, and may even qualify as a decent back-up.

I think you have to put him on the floor with shooters, because he's always been better at finding the open shooter than he is a shooting. yes, he's a turrible shooter, but still gets buckets. I've always liked his ability to take his man off the dribble and get into the lane. He's definitely lost a step (or two), but he's sneaky. From what little I've seen of him this season, he's still an excellent passer. Spot-up three specialists like Ariza, Beal, and Webster should benefit from his presence.

Do we really know what all the drama was about in Denver with him?

sounds mostly like he got upset about his games played streak ending
when he could have played. Arguably a little selfish but not the worst thing
in the world. He should play here and that should make him happy.

I do wonder how much he'll play though. I was thinking solely backup min
for John. But if the team does well when he's on the floor, presumably they
would adjust min accordingly.

Miller, Beal, Webster, Ariza, Gortat would be interesting-- Miller can get into the paint and is a good pick 'n roll guy.

Wittman says he will play on Saturday and will share the backcourt with Wall at some point. Should be interesting to see.

I'm officially excited.

Who wants to play a RealGM board game?

Every good play Miller makes Saturday, we take a shot of Old Granddad Bottled in Bond whiskey. I know monte is in.

I'm game, but only if you serve booze that's aged older than Andre Miller.

Always liked Andre as a player. He's been fundamentally sound his whole career and i hope he can help Wall a lot. I don't know if he will fit with our team well, because of his poor 3pt, but anything is better than Maynor and Temple running the team.

I really don't care about the 2nd round pick we gave because our GM would probably just waste it anyway. Also, Vesely and Maynor are 2 of the worst basketball players i've ever seen in the NBA. So, yeah, pretty happy we got rid of both.

Just don't play the game me and my 2 friends played on Wednesday.
We each chose a player, I had Nene, and my 2 friends had Beal and Ariza respectively. We had to take a shot for each made jump shot. Let's just say my friend who chose Beal didn't drive home that night and had to crash on my couch.

looking at the games miller did play this year, you have to take in to account that I don't hing hes been happy in denver for a while. His scoring ability seems to be in decline, But his handle and PG skills are still there. We need Miller to run the offence while wall is out and get the other players scoring while wall and beal rest. I think he can still do that and if he does this is a good move. Also he will be a valuable trade asset next year. With his deal expiring and not being fully guaranteed. teams looking to dump salary would want to grab him and cut him.

Most people seem very happy with EG's trade, but I don't understand. If Washington could have gotten Turner, who'd be a better PG, for a 2nd why Andre Miller?

Turner is not a good player. Miller is better. Even at age 37. Turner has yet to have a season as good as Miller's worst.

Nivek, curious.....why have you not secured a full time position with Monumental? You had mentioned doing some work for them previously.

I know they're currently hiring more senior advanced stats staff. They obviously need you, but my understanding is their camera tracking software has been a letdown? Second hand info but reliable.

Thank God Wittman said it. I heard it from Ernie but until I it came out of Wittman's mouth, I was nervous....

I might even buy some tickets if they did something that smart.
