Re: How does the season end?
It's crazy how the east is, a few wins in a row and we are right there competing for the 8th seed, or a few losses in a row and we are passed by the knicks and cavs. Honestly as much as some here want us to tank, I don't think even if the pistons wanted to tank that they could. With the talent the pistons have they will get wins here and there and that will always keep us close the rest of the season, it sucks but this is how the pistons have been. Not good enough to be in the playoffs but not bad enough to get a high draft pick.

Honestly, how much more evidence do we need before it's accepted that Dumars is a lame duck who is not allowed to do anything anymore? Everyone gave him a pass during the ownership transfer and accepted that his hands were tied, and it's the same situation now; Gores won't let him make ANY personnel decisions (players, coaches … hell, I suspect he's not allowed to hire or fire a popcorn vendor at this point!). We did nothing because that's the exact amount of faith and confidence our owner has in our current G.M.

Gores: Hello Joe.
Dumars: Hello Tom.
Gores: There's been reports that you traded our young popcorn vendor with potential for a popcorn vendor over in milwaukee that has a much higer salary and has a bad reputation over there. Is this true?
Dumars: Yes, but I believe milwaukee is a bad place for popcorn vendors, it doesnt have the right sides to complete a perfectly good bag of popcorn. I used some money on a returning veteran popcorn vendor to help with his popping of the kernals so the butter is shared equally.
Gores: But that is still a lot of money for a popcorn vendor.
Dumars: Dont worry i'm sure within a few years he will be one of the top 15 popcorn vendors in the league.
Gores: Ehhh...
Dumars: Also I signed a hot dog vendor too boost up our meat sections in the food court.
Gores: Another hot dog vendor, Joe? We already picked up 2 great young hot dog vendors in the last two years, one with a lot of potential (10 ten of all time) and the other who does all the little things with the condiments, what makes this guy so special.
Dumars: Well, he is great at wrapping up any kind of hot dog and was a big part of atlanta's success with their food service.
Gores: I've heard that he has an excellent sense of relish but he goes to the mustard too much which occasionally hurts his hot dogs. I dont want any sabotage going on in here even if its unintentional.
Dumars: Well this hot dog vendor said he'd stop over seasoning the dogs unless he was really feeling it. And just think Tom, 3 Hot Dog vendors at the same damn time, our food services would be able to overpower the food services of other east cities.
Gores: Ok, but I dont feel completely at ease will need to see the vendors in action to see how it works out. How much are you paying him.
Joe: *Mentions Numbers*
Gores:

Joe: I know right it's such a good deal I was thinking of Giving him an extra ten on tip of it, but Luckily he made his offer first

Gores:

Keep everyone from Dre, Moose, KCP, and Singler and tank. Hopefully we keep our pick since the way we're hopelessly inconsistent, I'd rather we tank.

I'm honestly excited to have a new GM. I just hope this one has both balls and brains.
