Would like to take a second and show appreciation for reggie evans. the dude went through a long stetch on this team where he was really hated on and blamed for our lack of success when he was thrust into a 30mpg starting role he had no business being in.

When we first got reggie he was a fan favorite. the guy hustled, got us extra possesions, annoyed people. we all loved reggie. then our clown coaches decided he should start and play 30 minutes, his hustle was diminished a bit, and he was blamed for everything and every loss that couldnt be pinned on gerald wallace. which is a shame since this year we replaced him with kevin garnett to start the year and the team still stunk(cause the real issue last year wasnt reggie, it was coaching, dwill, jj, and lopez)

reggie came here, played his butt off, did all the right things, and never complained whether he got 4 straight DNPs or played 40 minutes.

I agree that Reggie should get some appreciation, but this is revisionist history. He did a lot of stupid things when he became a starter, which is why the fans turned on him.

Everyone knows the real reason we struggled last year was because of coaching, by putting Reggie and Wallace in the starting lineup together and stubbornly sticking to that regardless of the results...but Reggie DID play poorly, worse than he had in the beginning of the year, and it went beyond simply having his limitations exposed in more minutes. Dumb TOs, and he started looking for how own offense for some reason. And people don't like calling out a guy who hustles like he does...but let's be honest, he was a selfish player when it came to rebounding the ball. Pushing his own teammates out of the way, stupid TOs as a result of diving out of bounds for rebounds that would have given possession to us if he just let them go, not contesting any shots because he wanted to preserve his position for rebounding, etc.

Evans represented Brooklyn and really worked his ass off here and the fans loved him. Same with Terry and his upbeat positive attitude. It's ashame both aren't skilled anymore and declining to be key role players but despite how much awfulness they brought on the court at times, I can't hate on any of them off the court. Both are perfect locker room influences and family men which is something this league needs.

right, but it really isnt his fault that the coaches put him in a role that he wasnt capable of filling. that would be like the Giants putting Ruben Randle at quarterback and then the fans getting mad at randle instead of coughlin. When reggie was in his proper role(6-8 mpg playing 80% of the games) he did well.

He had to be selfish for rebounding playing next to lopez. And while coaching was horrible and one of the main reasons we underachieved - reggie/wallace werent the big reason we lost. Dwill getting outplayed by the bulls back court and lopez getting beasted by noah and JJ pulling a disappearing act is why we lost.

Evans got more aggresive on offense because the coaches told him too. and it was a good thing. when he got the ball within 3 feet and didnt shoot it hurt spacing even more. if you look at games where he had 5 or more FGA our winning percentage was sky high. teams fouled him alot too putting us in the bonus earlier.

im not saying he was great, but he certainly was not the issue. not by a long shot. the fact that we sucked so bad replacing him with garnett should show it had alot to do with dwill/jj/lopez

There's a reason why Evans has bounced around so much. Clown's nothing but a stat-padding cancer.

I'm ecstatic he's no longer on this team. It's the only thing I like about this trade.

The idea of lobster mac always excited me, then I had it... twice... at two different high priced gourmet bar food type spots... once it was terrible... the other time mediocre and kind of weird.

SMH at marcus thornton...

WTF are you getting lobster anything in utah? a city 1000+ miles from the nearest ocean.

also seafood + cheese = giant no-no, never understood the lobster mac and cheese

i think places just have it cause they can mark it up 10 times the price cause it has lobster in it and the dish cost like $2.19 to make

Meh, a lot of lobster in something like that is originally going to be frozen in most markets anyway.

Not really going to criticize a guy for bad luck are we?

And yeah, seafood with cheese isn't usually the most appetizing, although there are some good ones, like fried flounder or cod sandwich with cheese, or Philadelphia rolls are pretty decent, shrimp parm is really good if it's done right, I know I'm forgetting some other combos that are solid, but as an in general, yeah, not a rocking combo.
