Sounds like Ray Rice could be in some trouble.

Fred Davis found drunk/passed out in his Rolls-Royce in the middle of a road at 3:45 PM on a Thursday. Not trying to start the whole thug debate again, but this story and Ray Rice's from yesterday are examples of why why most people assume football players are less than "good" people.

A rolls Royce was the most shocking part of the story. I know NFL players are paid well, but a Rolls on rookie scale contract? He's gonna be broke, like, the day he bought that thing.

Re: ATL: Offseason
The Browns offered a ton of draft picks to the 49ers for Jim Harbaugh, but Harbaugh refused to coach the Browns.
That would have been a stunning development, but Harbaugh made the smart choice.

Re: ATL: Offseason
The Browns are **** stupid. They would still be awful with Harbaugh coaching and no draft picks to get players.

Re: ATL: Offseason
That story is wild. No idea why Harbaugh would even think about going to the Browns, unless there is some kind of friction is San Fran. And if there is, I can't imagine the owner listening to trade offers for his head coach is going to help that any. Wonder if Harbaugh will bolt after his deal is up.

Re: ATL: Offseason
Would of been funny to watch Harbaugh go to the Browns and lose draft picks. That would be hard and rough. Browns are like the 49ers before Harbaugh though. They are loaded with early round picks. I could seem them being a playoff team right away.
If I am the Browns owner or GM I would of pulled the trigger on this.
There is allot of friction with Harbaugh and the 49ers GM from what I read.

I expect the 49ers to fall off the track. Gore is done, and they are losing some key players. They have Lattimore who is a wild card. Bowman out for most of next season who knows how his return will be. 49ers are also aging fast.
I feel we seen the best of the 49ers and they couldn't win a super bowl the last three years and now there ship is sinking.

Re: ATL: Offseason
Apparently, the 49ers and Browns were talking about Harbaugh for a 2nd round pick. I would've made that deal if I was Cleveland, but I don't if I'm San Francisco.

Jordan Gross retires? Man, I didn't think he's been in the league 11 years.

That was my initial thought as well. Had no idea he was drafted all the way back in 2003.

Seattle is starting to make their decisions on who will stay and who will go as their star players start to need bigger money.
I think this is a pretty good deal for them. It keeps most of their core together for next season as far as their best players go and that seems like more than a reasonable deal for a guy who is a good passer rusher and above average defensive lineman.

Re: ATL: Offseason
People are reporting he gave up more money to stay in Seattle which is somewhat understandable.

Owen Daniels cut. Might we worth a look on a cheap deal.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Re: ATL: Offseason
Schefter is reporting TJ Ward to the Broncos and Malcolm Jenkins to the Eagles.
Also Blaine Gabbert is getting traded to San Francisco for a 6th rounder?
