Let us take the time to reflect on what we were subjected to these past few months. In such a short period of time Eric Maynor cemented himself as the worst Wizards player to ever don the uniform. Never has a player, good or crappy, captured our imaginations like him. Nor has a player amassed more nicknames...DNP, Fart, Maynooooo, kitten killer etc.

What we witnessed (for those of us who had not gouged their eyes) cannot even be described as basketball. This was something else altogether! This was another level of mediocrity that bordered on mind boggling absurdity. It was like watching a parody of a parody. It was comedy, it was pitiful, it was frustrating, it was special.

So let us keep this thread alive to relive the moments we were in some ways truly blessed to be a part of. I mean come on, Ernie had a huge haystack and this mofo found the needle!!! Now he's gone like a floater in the wind and we are all a little empty inside. So let us all raise our middle finger and give Fart a proper send off!

However, I would suggest NOT keeping this thread alive. The sooner I get this future starter for Bilbao Basket off my mind, the better...

Maynor scored one point on 5 shots from the field tonight.

He was -29 in sixteen minutes.

I didn't even know that was possible.

Maynor is going to lead that Philly tank to new levels of suckiness. It's going to be epic.

Wow. Philly may have just hosed MKW chances at ROTY.

But all the better. Now my two picks can get in the race again. VO and Burke.

But MKW did have a really nice year. Can't take anything from the young man.

He had a better assist to turnover ratio than starter Michael Carter-Williams. Very controlled, letting the game come to him.

Miller is working out just fine. How's Maynor doing in Philly?

Maynor has been GREAT in his one game for Philly. Exactly what they've been looking for -- disastrously bad on offense and defense. The Sixers have been MUCH worse when he's on the floor. Perfect for their tank.

Sixers fan here, I really think Maynor is an underrated piece in the trade for us. I mean, we practically got 2 2nd rounders for free but this guy is really holding the tank together. Our starters aren't so bad but once Maynor and the bench unit comes in, we start getting down by 30 points to the Bucks. Really good addition for our team.

He's the WORST Wizard ever. Easily cost the Wizards 5 games this year with his utterly crappy play. Perfect Tank player. I think he's the slowest and worst PG in the NBA. Of course, our moron of a GM signed him to a 2 year deal on the FIRST day of FA!

Yeah, that sounds great! at least the 2nd worst record is a lock now. With this guy logging at least 20 minutes a night it will ensure some good runs from our opponent untill MCW checks back in.

We got another terrible player (and a 2nd round pick in 2018 lol) in Byron Mullens for nothing. Our defensive rebounding percentage with him on the floor the other night was 11%! How does that even happen. I think our GM really wanted to make sure the tank would roll smoothly for the rest of the year, acquiring these dudes and having to play them significantly.

Ha ha. Your GM really does have an eye for (un)talent. Those were some brilliant Trade Deadline trades.

That said, it must be truly frightening to watch Maynor and Mullens share the court together. My condolences.

Don't feel too bad for them, 2-3 years from now the entire eastern conference will rue the Noel-Embiid duo :/
