Do you think Detroit will retire Grant Hill's jersey?

Grant Hill was such a beast for the Pistons before the injuries. Its just a shame his career went the wrong route due to injuries.

Tough to say. Outside of putting up some monster stat lines, he didn't accomplish much in Detroit beyond his individual accolades.

I'd lean towards no.

6 years of awesome. And it's the Pistons fault that his career was ruined. His last year here was amazing. His shooting got better and better as the season went on. He was clearly a superstar and had Jordanesque stats during the middle of that season. Then he played through injuries that he shouldn't have played through to end the season. The organization could've made him sit and didn't. He still probably would've left, because his wife had a lot to do with the decision, but he made us a playoff team when the rest of the roster was poverty level. His jersey should be up there.

I Agree. His jersey should be up there for Detroit and the Pistons did ruin his career, its just a shame because he could of had a great career.

Going with no. Grant's best contribution to this franchise was leaving and getting us Ben Wallace in that sign and trade.

Now that's the guy who needs his jersey retired. I can't wait until Stuckey gets out of here so we can finally put #3 into the rafters where it belongs.

Definitely no. Just because he helped them get to the playoffs doesn't mean jersey retirement I'm afraid. With that logic there would be no numbers left to use.

Rodman played 7 seasons and only started about half the games.
He wasn't a big factor in our Finals wins.
But when his name was tapped by the HOF, we put Rodman in.
I suspect it'll go down similarly for Grant Hill.

I would say no, I also didn't think Worm deserved it...

Next retired should be Ben followed by Billups.

As much as i love Grant Hill, I'd be very surprised if his jersey is retired.

Chauncey, Ben, Rip, Sheed, Tay all deserve it more than Hill. I think an argument can be made for each of those 5 before Rodman too.
