Let's talk about this Texas sophmore center.
On ESPN he is listed at 6-9, but he is closer to 6-10/6-11.
Very big body, and uses it to his advantage.
Underrated shot blocker.
Moves surprisingly well. Runs the court well.
Out of all the "center" prospects I actually like him a big distant second behind Embiid. Which means I like him above Cauley-Stein and Isiah Austin.
Has anyone seen him play?

Re: Cameron Ridley(underrated)
He is 6'10.
He is strong and he improved a lot his conditioning this year, he does move well for his size, it will be great for him to continue to lose weight.
He is not much of a leaper but still is a good shot blocker mainly because of his huge wingspan.
I think he will stay at Texas another year, probably could end up as a 1st round pick in 2015, he reminds me of Kendrick Perkins when he was with the Celtics, not a big time talent but gets the job done.

Not much there with this guy. Maybe he can grab a rebound or two. The type of guy you bring in as an undrafted FA.

That. It's all about conditioning with him. If he keeps it up, he'll definitely be first round worthy.

not much of an accomplishment but he just ate isaiah austin's lunch. he still has a ways to go to be in optimum shape, but i doubt he'll ever be body beautiful.
i do like his combination of length and physicality though. you don't have to encourage this guy to carve out space on the interior or battle in the post. i like his nasty disposition too.
the progress he's made in his touch is pretty impressive, going from shooting 33% to 62% from the line and finishing better as well.
the lazy comparison would be to someone like dexter pittman, but ridley's ahead of dexter's curve on both ends of the floor. he's pretty damn good defensively, good enough to be a future back up C imo.
