I remember that. I never could stand Jack and I don't think he's that good of a player. I'll be pissed if this trade goes through.

We currently have Evans, Acy, JT, Landry and D-Will at the 4 spot. D-Will and Acy can play some 3 (D-Will more than Acy), but that's a TON of $$$ at the 4 spot without having a quality starter among them. Someone has to go and good luck trying to trade Landry anytime soon.

It is a little concerning that Jack is 30 yrs old on a 4 yr deal. His decline could hurt us if it begins early.

Good point, we probably need one more year to get rid of clutter and contracts.

By that time we have JT on 2 years, the final year would be less money if we did not want to keep him.

We'd be better off keeping our PF clutter, and looking forward two seasons from now.

Yeah no for Jack, unless they want Landry.

Guess I'd rather keep a cluster at the 4 spot for now than bring in Jack. Like you said acy and dwill can play the 3 and Thompson can play the 5. Right now gray is our only backup at the 5. I don't see Evans here long term anyways.

Reggie Evans and Quincy Acy.... twinsies!

Under normal circumstances I'd say that the Kings and their fans are about to see what Marcus Thornton can do, but it's almost like with Tyreke this summer, this might be the worst situation for him to go into. Have to see what Kidd does with him but that's another team with not enough balls to go around as is.

True. Plus, I didn't realize he'd be coming off the bench. Yikes. That's not a role he excels in, at least not for us, or New Orleans for that matter.

Yeah, I remember - Bosh was nearing the end of his contract that year, on the verge of becoming a FA. Jack's comment's were directed at a few Kings fans sitting court side. The fans, almost in a taunting manner, were pleading Bosh to sign here in Sacramento. I'm pretty sure that was a frustrating game for the Raps, as I believe they were down by a big margin. Both Jack and Bosh were insulted by the fans' remarks. I don't blame them, but I never cared much of Jack after that game. Haha.

It's not exactly a known fact to uneducated Americans, or to some people in other parts of the world. I've had people ask me where I'm from, I tell them, "near Sacramento," and they have no idea where that's at. Not too uncommon I suppose. Ha.
