Let's see how creative Wittman can...lol lol...sorry I can't type that with a straight face. Lmao! :lol:

Yeah OKC's success has nothing to do with Brooks and everything to do with Durant. Brooks is horrible, only a shade better than Wittman.

CCJ, Cody Zeller is playing 16 mpg. The only good big ahead of him at the 4/5 is Jefferson but McRoberts plays 30 mpg and Tolliver gets 21. They have minimal talent behind Jefferson yet he still is a non-factor in their rotation for the most part,

and thats just another example of what dumb organizations do

Zeller is a C but their big free agent aquisition is a C

Their other top 10 pick in Biyombo is a C

And MKG a second overall gets 25 minutes a game

its incredible how stupid these organizations are

Biyombo figures in the rotation, also. McRoberts is effective and so is Tolliver.

I won't argue talent either way. I think Jefferson is better than Gortat or Nene. McRoberts is IMO better than Booker. Tolliver is similar to Al Harrington. Biyombo rebounds but Seraphin can score. No matter how much Cody Zeller sits, he's a better player than Otto Porter. The Bobcat/Hornets don't have an Ariza on the wings. They do have Big Al on the blocks.

My point is that Charlotte is currently a playoff team. They could be a higher seed than the Wizards soon.

There's 7 weeks left in the regular season. Nene expected out 4-6 weeks. Between his injury recovery history and the Wizards' injury recovery history, I think it's fair to say we should be looking at the back end of that timetable. That would mean he'd barely be healthy enough to return just in time for the playoffs, but we typically like to ease Nene back into the rotation. Not sure if the playoffs is the right time to do that, but we might not have a choice. Fingers crossed, hope for a speedy and full recovery, as well as the rest of our team's ability to survive in the meantime.

JWiz-

Do you actually think Ernie listens to us? :lol:
I suspect he only listens to the voices in his head...
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

So 4-6 weeks...I'll just approximate and say 5 weeks...

So he "should" be back April 1st or so (jokes on us prolly)

assuming that level of stupid optimism we got:

ORL
@TOR
@PHIL
MEM
UTAH
@MIL
@MIA
CHA
@ORL
BRK
@SAC
@POR
@LAL
@DEN
PHX
IND
ATL
@CHA

until April 1st...

18 games...I think it is possible to split those, but....we might want to find some...umm...depth. Luckily only memphis, IND and POR are the only ones on there I think with very physically imposing front lines.

Nene coming off the bench with the second unit could work very well in the playoffs.

I bet you both Zeller and MKG give the Bobcat/Hornets many successful seasons beyond their rookie deals. They have been active participants in the NBA. The Wizards are worse about burying Porter, Vesely, Singleton, Rice, and others. The Wizards reject youth in order to pay for veterans.

I dunno. Lately, our medical staff has been overly cautious. It may be that they really only expect a 4-week recovery time but are assuming 6 weeks just to be on the safe side.

This is probably the best of all possible situations. We give Booker and Seraphin one final opportunity to prove that they're worth a second contract and we give Nene time to rest his feet before the playoffs. And if we slip out of playoff contention, it'll result in EG being fired. This isn't a case of "injury problems" derailing the season. This is just Nene being Nene. He has averaged 56 games a year for his career. Why should this year be any different?

I think MKG ends up being a rich man's LMA...but Zelller....well he sucks. No hiding that. He'll get better, but its obvious he's inbetween positions. Not athletic enough for he 4, not strong enough for the 5. Decent bigman off the bench but...meh...is what Zeller is currently, although he improve (assuming he adds some girth).

The other point that people are glossing over, our trusty medical staff misdiagnosed again. I realize you can't tell for sure until there's an MRI and that in this case it's an understandable misdiagnosis, but it's hard to overlook given the number of misdiagnoses over the years.
