Financial Structure of the NBA

Hey everyone,

I am a Finance major doing my masters in International Banking and Finance. I am in the process of starting my Master thesis and I want to write about the financial structure of the NBA, including the CBA, profit-sharing, player salaries, etc.

Do you guys have any recommendations for the direction in which I should go in terms of a research question?

Also, do you have any recommendations for sources of information?

I thought maybe some of you would have some interesting questions about which you have been wondering and maybe my research can help answer these queries .

Best resource you can find on answering questions on how the CBA is structured. If you want individual salary information on players, my favorite is Mark Deeks' site - Shamsports.com. Basketball Insiders also has some really solid salary data as well.
