What a difference a year and a new coach can make in soccer. Last year United were better than Real Madrid for 3/4th of the tie until Nani got sent off. Today they are deservedly losing against Olympiacos.

Yeah english team's have been pretty disappointing in Europe over the last few years. 2011 united/chelsea and 2012 chelsea only teams to make it past the round of 16 I think.
