I would say yes to Yao. No to TMac because he really just quit on the team at the end.
But Les seems to not really mind since he's frequently at the games sitting with TMac.

Was at Toys R Us today and they have some new Simpsons action figures with Yao
A smaller one with Homer and one by himself that's a little bigger

Yao should and will.

T-Mac shouldn't and probably won't.

He played more games as a Rocket than Clyde but of course he didn't win a championship.

If Houston took Clyde #3 overall in 1983 instead of Rodney McCray I think the Rockets win at least 1 championship before 1994. McCray did get us Otis Thorpe in a trade though.

They will retire Yao's number.

There is no way they will not retire Yao's number. T-Mac is doubtful, the magic should retire him though. I also think Rockets should retire Francis.

This probably means nothing but no player has used #11 since Yao retired.
4 players have used #1 since TMac was traded (Ariza, T-Will, Machado, Canaan)

if your team has plan to retire the number they will not allow other player use it
lakers wont let player use #34 and #8 because they are retiring both

I think Yao's jersey should definitely be retired.

The global impact this man brought to the franchise and the entire NBA was tremendous.

Plus, he was a pretty talented dude, minus the injuries.

Wow. Shaq's number should be retired, but after the way he left Orlando, not so sure if they would. I have a question. Would Houston consider retiring Ralph Sampson's number? Him and Hakeem representing the twin towers was a sight that was god-like for their play. It's a shame his career was de-railed by injuries. Plus he was recently inducted into the HHOF.
