No

Canada never had slavery

Canada did not become a country until after the USA abolished slavery. While it was still a colony, slavery was legal until Great Britain abolished it in 1833. It did exist in Canada up until 1833, but not at the levels it existed in the South in USA.

it's because most canadians are weirdos with nothing better to do.

btw I googled "why are canadians so weird" and got a million hits. I think it's pretty well known those people are a little

The U.S. has the gun violence problem...

Just an observation, the crowd in the Raptors arena appears laid-back and lack that snooty appearance that can be found in the Verizon Center alone. Looks real diverse and chill in there.

Yes, the US has a gun violence problem. But, we find that makes for better folk heroes, gangsta rap songs, action movies, video games and CSI spinoffs. Has anyone ever heard of a Canadian detective series?

I like canada, canadian politics, and especially canadians, but enjoyed this thread.

I do not like canadian bacon. That's just ham. Give me the real crispy stuff thanks.

I actually like curling, it's very interesting sport. Just don't get a chance towatch it much outside of the olympics. I for one have no issues with canadians nor do most people in the US. That said, I'm not so sure that folks feel the same in Canada.
