Their defensive set up looks so disorganized. Part of that has to be the speed of some of these Bayern players but still, there's 8 men in/around the box and somehow Robben had time to pull of his favourite shot.

That's 3 chances in a row that should have been 5-0 easily.

Now Schalke looking dangerous. Put one in already!

I bet Rafinha's Schalke past caught up with him

Edit: watch out for ter Stegen's hilarious own goal vs Braunschweig, in which he let a harmless backpass silde into the net. If for some reason Barca doesn't want him anymore, you know why :banghead:

In their defense (which was found lacking  ), they did just play the two most in form + historically storied clubs in Europe. But yeah, they didn't batten down the hatches at all so to speak.

The scorelines reflect it. They played both games as though they were playing equal opponents and paid for it.

Fun fact: After the opening whistle, Manuel Neuer had to wait TWENTY EIGHT minutes until he first touched a ball - after a routine back pass. FYI, Bayern already had scored three goals!

For all you guys who ask what Bayern has to do with Mark Zuckerberg, Napoleon and Godzilla: Bayern is "about to conquer Europe" (blue), "possibly invincible" (orange) and "reduces opposition to screaming cowards" (green).

So Veh is set to leave Frankfurt at the end of the season: new Schalke manager?

Crazy to think that Keller has been regarded and treated as an interim coach for more than one year freaking year! Just how amateurish is the Schalke management?!

Keller was only the interim manager last season. This season he's just been a bad full time manager who needs to get fired, kinda like Moyes.

Hope they don't go after Veh though, Tuchel, Streich or Gisdol would be so much better for them.

doesn't really matter what he actually is: they treated keller like an interim manager and he has always been regarded as such in the media. seems like the players had to approve him every weekend during interviews.

as for veh, he's actually done a decent job at frankfurt, probably his best since the stuttgart days. see the connection? veh, heldt, stuttgart, schalke? no-brainer for schal.... eh, heldt.

btw: another great performance from hecking's wolfsburg yesterday. conceding six goals? really?
they ain't gonna achieve s.hit with hecking. need to get rid of him ASAP.

Heldt and Veh are buddies. I would be extremely surprised if Veh doesn't end up at Schalke after this season.

As for the other guys. Tuchel and Streich are masterminds. Gisdol is more a hit or miss guy. I'm not too high on him because his team seems too play way too offensive minded in ~90% of all their games.

This is the worst :banghead:

A 39 year old Hannover 96 fan, who was struck by fireworks last week launched by Hannover 96 hooligans (and was seriously injured and put into an artificial coma) and permanently lost much of his hearing ability, has been assaulted by a group of 6 masked men. They repeatedly struck and kicked him and his fiancee, threatening to "really get serious" if he continued "to snitch to the police". They escaped unrecognized.

1) I cannot find words to describe how low and cowardly these attacks were.
2) Even if he could, the fan could not stop the police investigations.
3) Hannover 96 hooligans attacking HANNOVER 96 FANS?!??

On a more sportive level, of all clubs, HSV is the team that got the worst of the Chile friendly. Both Lasogga and Jansen are injured. Jansen is *maybe* replacable, but no way HSV can do w/o Lasogga.

I don't know what was worse yesterday.

The lackluster performance by the players on the pitch or numerous ARD commentators trying to convince the viewers that the German players are not fit enough for the WC although they won a game they didn't even care about.

Some more news from Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Aside from pi**ing away our great first half of the season, the front office seems to have some plans for the new sesaon.
Central defender Rooooooouuuuuuul Brouwers won't be back for next season.
The reason for that was mentioned by Max Eberl, who said that we've got a good chance to buy a top player at that position.
The two names mentioned for that are Fabian Schär(Basel) and Matthias Ginter(Freiburg).

I'm not really sure why we need another centre back(especially if we don't qualify for europe), as we already have Jantschke, Stranzl, Dominguez and even Nordtveit, who're all able to play that position.

Watching Stranzl and Jantschke initiating the offense often is a pain to watch. So i get why they want Schär and Ginter who are strong in that category.

Sure, that's certainly a reason.

Though, if we do sign one of those guys, I think Dominguez will be on his way out, given that he might fetch us a nice transfer fee and would be nearly guaranteed sitting on the bench anyways.

Still, what we really need is an upgrade on the wings and central offense, cause we've got nothing behind Kruse, Raffael, Arango and Herrmann.
