They never should have rushed Lomanchenko against Salido. He bit off way more than he could chew.

Oh of course. Salido is a disgrace for not making weight.

He's also dirty as hell with all those low punches.

It disgusts me to see Salido celebrating like this. He didn't bother to make weight, fought dirty as hell, and had an incompetent ref back him up all night. Disgusting.

I do too because it wasn't an even playing field tonight. F*ck Salido and Cole.

I'm so disgusted hearing Salido talk right now. This chump didn't make weight so he could specifically have an advantage, and he kept throwing low blows because he knew Cole wasn't going to penalize him.

Give me a break that his body can't handle making weight anymore. If that's the case, then don't f*cking fight in that weight class anymore. It's a bunch of BS. This **** has no integrity.

I really can't give Salido any credit right now. I have more respect for Lomanchenko after battling uphill against a dirty bloated fighter, and an incompetent ref.

 I caught a replay of Salido's win over Lomachenko and I knew what to expect when I clicked this thread. What the hell was Cole doing?

Cole was awful tonight, maybe the worst I've seen from him. That was brutal. Salido proved to be what we already knew, a very tough opponent, especially for one that doesn't have pro experience like Lomachenko. Lomachenko really needed to start going to the body much earlier, he had a lot of success late in the fight because of it. He has the talent and skills and this was a good learning experience for him, he does have the look of a potentially devastating body puncher.

Chavez Jr. won clearly this time around, Vera gave it all he had but it wasn't enough. Much faster start for Chavez than the first fight. That's probably it for Vera on this HBO/SHO type of stage. I wouldn't mind seeing him continue on FNF or ShoBox, programs like that. Another fight, another complaint about the ref. I generally see Ramos as a decent ref for the most part, which probably means great by Texas standards , but I thought he interjected himself into the fight more than he should have. Vera didn't deserve to have a point taken IMO.

Saw Crawford/Burns on AWE this afternoon, decent fight. Crawford looked the superior fighter in there, Burns' title reign has been in doubt lately and it finally gave way. Crawford really isn't all that spectacular, this is definitely one of the weakest divisions in boxing no question about it. Judges scoring was surprisingly solid in this one when that was the big question mark heading into the fight.

Maybe the good thing about tonight is that he gets beaten by Golovkin.
