how do you rank them, if all are healthy? assume cp3's age and injuries a few years ago have slowed him down.

In that same order that I listed. I'm gonna assume that when healthy, CP3 is still putting up 20 & 10 on good %s.

I'm not sure if Rose will return to his old form but if he does, then he's #2.

you shouldnt use the 2007 ver. of cp3 vs the current crop of pgs, that was A LONG TIME AGO, unlike rose and westbrooks' (recent knee injuries)

and i'd easily would rather have dragic over a healthy westbrook. OKC would be much better with dragic running the show (better bball IQ, non-chucker)

Parker finished top-5 in MVP voting last year IIRC.

Totally forgot about Parker. I still wouldn't put him top 5 though...I think any of the guys I have listed could put up similar or better numbers under Popovich's system.

Hell even Patty Mills looked like a stud for the Spurs when Parker was out.

Yeah it's not like our system brings the best out in PG's even though 2 of them are having career years. ;)

What justifies who's the best PG in the league? Is it up-to-date who's playing the best? If that's the case, Dragic is the best PG in the NBA. :)

Seriously though, if someone would have told me one day Dragic would be in MVP consideration, all-star worthy, and all NBA team consideration, I would have slapped them in the face. I always saw Dragic as the perfect backup, but NOTHING more. Last year, I saw some glimpses of him by leading the team to some wins even with terrible a squad, but this season man he's so good.

Proud days being a Suns fan guys.

Nice to see a player grow as a 3rd string PG - to backup PG- to a decent backup PG - to a starting PG - to a starting SG- to the best PG in the league.

This is not meant as a knock on Dragic but I am not sure that Dragic is the best point guard on our team. You could make a case for Ish and Bledsoe both being a better Point guard, or equally as good. However Dragic is a great guard and been one of the best players in the league. I think he is best when he is scoring rather than creating for others. I consider him a guard that plays hard every night and is one of the best in the league.

Most of the best teams recently Lakers, Spurs and Heat did not have a great pass first point guard and won championships. We had one of the best past first point guards of all time and never won the ring. Neither is a pass first point guard which is a good thing. They both are legit threats at all times to score.

I love Dragic as well as Bledsoe. I think they give us an advantage in the backcourt virtually every night. If we get rid of either of them I think it would be a huge mistake.

The only thing that frustrates me about Goran is his defense. He plays hard but gets beat of the dribble, a lot.

Point guard position has evolved. Score first mentality.. Don't ever put Ish over Dragic lol

As an overall player no, but at times Ish seems to get everyone involved better than Goran. Ish and Dragic on the court together have been very good recently.

Dragic is same level as Parker of 2 seasons ago... and maybe current..

Last year Parker was one of the most efficient players (it seemed that way anyways)...
Top 5 is arguable...

Westbrook is STILL better than Dragic... sorry, but he may be a chucker sometimes... but he will average 23-24 points and 8 assists with this Suns team....

With respect to Westbrook, I do not believe he would put up better numbers than he does with OKC. He is a bit less efficient than Dragic and, because he is the #2 guy in OKC he gets to hoist up 17-19 shots a game. In contrast, Dragic shoot about 14 times a game and had significantly higher shooting percentages. Assists, rebounds steals and blocks are all relatively close.

I tend to agree with you. I think Goran is a top 2 shooting guard, Him and Harden are in a league of their own. Yes he's been playing PG but I'd really like to see him make the fulltime switch. Play Bledsoe and Ish as our PG's and play a combo of Dragic, Green, Tucker, and Goodwin as our 2. Mainly Dragic
